Dinner for three this evening. Had never visited... 2 has 1/2 slab of ribs 3rd person had chicken and pulled pork.Everything tasted good and ribs almost fell off the bone. Waiter was very attentive Couple suggestionsA rub on the ribs would be good and maybe a house Bar B Q sause or 2-3 offered to be applied on the grill... Of course plain so guest can add to their liking.2nd. A little better control of music volume. Went to this restaurant for the first time, amazing food the staff was friendly and fast. I ordered brisket with pulled squash, garlic parmesan broccoli, corn off the cob with lime butter & cornbread my daughter ordered smoked wings with mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese & cornbread. First time here with my girlfriend. What an amazing dining experience!!  We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by what turned out to be one of the owners. Super nice guy. We, of course, asked him what he'd recommend. He mentioned that everything was as farm to table as possible and that the smoked offerings were very good as were the entrees. We decided to order a mix of the smoked meats, sides and a watermelon and home grown tomato salad. To cut to the chase every single thing we had was awesome and I don't use that word lightly. Some of the best real barbecue I have ever had. Everything was obviously fresh and homemade including the bbq sauce. My husband and split the nachos as well as the the onion rings and we each had a sandwich. Be prepared to spend a few dollars but the quality is definitely worth it. Really enjoyed it! Good variety of meats and sides, and the drinks list is nicely thought out. Patio seating is very lovely on a summer evening. My only recommendation is to arrange some kind of a one-person 'platter' with a smaller amount of a couple different side dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant! Great food. We had 4 different meats and they were all delicious! The sides are also wonderful. Try the Brussel sprouts! We had a terrific waiter... ‘Andrew’. He really knew his menu and gave us great recommendations. We sat out in the screened in porch and it was very nice. I don't know where all these subpar reviews are coming from because I just went to this establishment and it was phenomenal! The wait staff is super attentive and so nice! Our drinks were never half empty! We had the burnt ends chili which was sooooo good, paired with the corn bread as an app, we literally devoured it! 10 stars if I could! I had the grilled salmon as an entree and it was cooked to perfection! My boyfriend had the smoked meatloaf and it was really delicious! They're mustard base bbq sauce is so good I could drink it! This is a great barbecue restaurant located in Walled Lake. If you're not from the area and you like really well prepared Barbeque with all the traditional sides I would recommend that it's worth the drive. I particularly enjoy the Sunday morning Bloody Marys and Mimosa specials. They have fantastic breakfast items on their menu. They also have great happy hour specials. MET OUR DAUGHTER HERE FOR DINNER AS IT IS ONE OF HER FAVORITE RESTAURANTS. Met friends for dinner last night. First time in a long time that we've been there. Pretty empty.  Our waiter was, um, kind of, well as I actually said in front of him Smart Assy! He may have been trying to be funny but he wasn't overly friendly.  The mashed potatoes were beyond awesome!  The Brussels Sprouts were excellent as well. I wasn't in the mood for smoke bbq so I had a limited choice.  The salads are very specific and more gourmet than my liking as well as the dressings.  I guess I won't be back for another long time unless I am in the mood for mashed potatoes! Good dry smoked bbq.  Brisket could have had more of a smoke to it, but the turkey was  on point.  Great sides -- cornbread, tots, and veggies were all great.  Friendly staff.  We'll be back.

I enjoyed our dining experience. The waitress told us most people order family-style, so we tried the pulled pork, brisket and sausage. For the sides, we had the baked beans, corn bread, collard greens, sweet potatoes and pickled vegetables. There was plenty for 5 of us.
