What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
While of course the music will make or break any party, having a DJ that is outgoing and approachable will always help improve the energy of any event. Reading the crowd reactions for music cues and making sure that the requests that come in are fitting to the event style and client wishes help the guests stay out on the dance floor.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I would say my style is an energetic, fun, somewhat 'Fairy Godmother' in nature. I enjoy being able to come into an event, set up an area where the guest can feel like a star (in a karaoke set up), and provide a one of a kind night for all included. Working closely with clients on their vision for their event ensures that they get the song styles they want and have the best event possible.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that people allow me to share in their joyous moments and special events in a special way having the ability to provide the musical memories they will take with them through to that next part of life be it via weddings, birthdays, graduations, going away parties, etc. Each event is inherently unique, and the variety and diversity makes this job an incredible one to be able to do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a previous co-owner and manager of Absolute Karaoke Entertainment Group, LLC. I have always worked on some level of the musical entertainment industry. As the business was disseminated at the beginning of 2018 and the hosts all started their own entities, I felt it was time to do the same. I bring decades of administrative corporate experience which makes me a bit different in the DJ world as I firmly believe the business of entertainment is still business and the same level of professionalism and communication can be applied to any industry.
Why should our clients choose you?
Running full service event needs I can assist with many levels of planning as well as providing the entertainment for the night. I am responsive and open to hearing what the client wants and doing everything in my power to provide exactly that.
