I often am curious if it the subject matter or the photographer when it comes to capturing great family photos. I am now convinced that Casey Buckman is a master at his craft! My family is notoriously difficult to get great shots of and my wife and I are overly critical of how we turn out in photos. Casey Buckman is truly a world-class photographer. Not only has he mastered his craft concerning the technical aspects of photographer, he is an artist in the true sense of the word. We did a family session with him a few months ago and he did an amazing job! The settings and framing of shots were very artistic; we were impressed. He was fabulous with our kids and helping them feel comfortable and at ease. He was able to really capture their personalities in a way that was priceless to us! Unless it's a selfie, my strong willed daughter doesn't smile for photos and it can be extremely difficult just to get her to sit still for a photo. Casey, what I was looking for in a photoshoot was exactly what I received. I hate having my photo taken, I don't like to doll up. However, your studio and personality put me at ease. With the help of Becky Goodrick with Mary Kay; I felt pampered and posed for this occasion. The shots were painless and I actually started to smile the real smiles, unlike my selfies or other photos in my life. Goodness, where do I start? I have been using Casey Buckman Photography now for over 3 years, and have had 3 family sessions with him. Each has been unique, fun, and best of all, the pictures are lifelong memories that my wife and I will cherish forever. He recently shot our 3rd session on location at a local garden and the pictures are fabulous! He makes the sessions fun and energetic, and in doing so, guarantees the smiles are abundant (and let's be honest, with a 7 and 10 year old, that can be challenge sometimes!).
