My step daughter wanted Jerk chicken for her birthday dinner and this place appeared to be our only choice. We had the Jerk Chicken, chicken curry and red snapper and each dish was fabulous and full of flavor. The owner was a 1 man show and paid attention to every detail offering clean plates, utensils and refilling our water glasses which was impressive given that he was also taking orders and preparing food for us and the other customers. I have to say that this is one special place!  The owner was there by himself and did an outstanding job taking care of our party of five celebrating a birthday.  His service and food prep was like fine dining.  He even put candles on the birthday cake and brought it out singing Happy Birthday.  I highly recommend this restaurant if you want fine dining that's affordable.  The food was absolutely delicious!  We will definitely be back!!!! There isn't nothing on the menu that won't make you want to come back for more. Definitely have your taste buds experiencing flavor and spices from the Caribbean, definitely not just salt and pepper. Everyone should come here. You can eat everything on the menu. He haven't failed me yet with the various dishes he has, the only Caribbean spot in Sacramento and I always come to it once I'm in town. Very nice dinner and very accommodating for Keto. Had the jerk chicken and two servings of mixed salad. I was pleasantly surprised and I'm always appreciative when the restaurant is flexible with my eating restrictions.  The salad was beautiful with bits of mango ( not Keto so I didn't eat it, but it's the thought and effort) tomato, and cucumber. Had a great experience here!The costumer service is on point, it was as if we were relatives. The greeter/server/cook who I am also assuming is the owner is very attentive and treated our party of 4 very well. If only other restaurants can be this way. The food is as good as it looks and does take some time, but quality meals take time. I liked the plantains and the rice & beans here better than other Caribbean restaurants I’ve been to. My husband and I attended a wedding that Caribbean Breeze Cuisine catered.  Dee-licious food and an open bar!  My margarita was great.  First, servers attended to the wedding party.  Then, they opened up the buffet line for guests.  I chose the smothered chicken breast with mushrooms, well seasoned fresh vegetables and a garden salad.  My husband loved the beef.  He commented on the flavor and tenderness.  They 'really' are a full service catering operation.  We  had china, glassware, table attendants and a byouTful experience to be fondly remembered.  The website shows they're now open for lunch.  Thank you Vincent, Amelia and attendants.  Great job. Had a great experience at this place. At first we weren't sure if we wanted to come here so we went to check it out. The gentleman who I'm assuming is the owner is friendly & the service was so wonderful from this family owned restaurant. You could tell that they really care for their customer because they're so attentive. He gave us an extra salad and also a chocolate cake on the house!The food was good. I really enjoyed their plantains, which is odd because I usually pick them out of my dishes at a popular Caribbean restaurant back in my town. I liked how they give toasted bread with butter, you can't go wrong with that. So one thing to keep in mind about this place is that you want to get there early if you want your choice of the menu.This is a small place, and once they are out of something for the day, they're out. That being said, though, I've rarely had such friendly and attentive service at any place I've gone to. The owner is exceedingly nice and helpful. He's from St. Thomas originally and came to Sacramento because his sister told him there were no authentic Caribbean places here.The plantains are amazing! So was the red snapper and sweet potato pie I had for dessert. All entrees come with plantains and red beans and rice. It's a good portion of food...and so delicious I cleaned my plate. The decor and building may not much, but what's inside has a whole lot of flavor and personality. Give these guys a try, they're wonderful! P.S Try the Scotch Bonnet Hot Pepper Sauce. I give the Caribbean Breeze cuisine restaurant five stars the food is excellent the chef knows what he's doing that's for sure I have tried everything my favorite is jerk chicken wings he makes one of the best and prettiest salad very appealing you eat with your eyes first everything is excellent love the chocolate cream cheese pound cake and that bread pudding is off the chain they just celebrated their fifth year of being open congratulations Caribbean Brezze Cuisine on 5 years and praying 4 another five years to God be the glory

I went here with my mother and my primano. I had the brown stew chicken, mother had jerk chicken, and my primano had curry chicken. We all enjoyed our meals. I pretty much destroyed mine. When bread pudding was mentioned as a dessert option, it had to happen, and I'm so glad it did. The bread pudding was delicious and I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit to Caribbean Breeze, especially since my next trip to the actual Caribbean is so far away. More...

Glad I ignored the negative reviews. I'd describe this place as a fancy, hole-in-the-wall, Caribbean restaurant. The place was empty when we, party of 3, got there, and the guy seemed to working alone. Even though he only had 3 things from the menu, we compromised and got the jerk chicken and curry chicken; the other thing they had was fillet red snapper. He promptly brought us our bread and salads while we waited for the main course. The bread was toasted and good, even though a bit salty. When our food arrived it was well presented and looked yummy. I'm sure he was the owner. He was busy from the night before to the next morning when we arrived for lunch. Everyone knows you cannot rush good food. He was the greeter, server, and cook. He kept us entertained. We had the patience for the delicious food we were going to eat. Jerk chicken was delicious. Whole tilapia was delicious. I have anxiously looked forward to having some Caribbean fare in the Sacramento area and that is a feat in itself but then to have such a wonderful lunch was truly the cherry on top.  The curry goat was so juicy and tender and so well seasoned.  My guests couldn't stop going on and on about the grilled fish and how fresh it was and the jerk chicken.  The curry goat was so good we ordered extra so there would be some to take home and the owner was so kind and added fresh rice and beans and plantains so to the leftovers would be like a new meal.  He was attentive with a great personality and made us feel like we had just sat down for a meal in his own home.  Because of the owner and his wonderful food my guests loved their introduction to Caribbean food and can't wait to come back and bring their friends to experience this little jewel.  Please, if you want a special dinner or lunch treat with great hospitality I highly recommend Caribbean Breeze.  Just for what it is worth, this is only the second time I have felt a business deserved to be reviewed but it was such a special place. I've been in northern California off and on for the past 10 years and coming from South Florida, this restaurant has been the closest to taste of the carribean cuisine I have grown accustomed to. Went to this small little mom and pop place last night. As others have noted this place is essentially a one man show so when you go know that it will be efficient but somewhat slow service.  The food is very good and comes in generous portions. He was out of jerk chicken which was a bummer but my friend and I had the oxtails and the jerk pork which came with salad and bread. The flavors were quite good and the meat was tender.  The owner was really friendly and terrific.  I couldn't finish all my food so I asked to take my leftovers. He saw that I'd finished my rice and he ran back to kitchen to get me more rice and then added the leftovers.  He said he wanted to made sure I had enough for lunch.  Looking forward to returning.
