I have a friend in Gainesville with a young family member facing serious anger issues and an elderly granma with dementia in the house. I spoke with Jenny at Care 4 America, and she not only has reasoably priced anger management classes, but also medicare approved home senior care programs to help with daily life and emotion issues surrouding alzheimers. Although Jenny was very helpful, and my friend has not yet taken advantage of this info. I sure hope he adresses the anger and gets grandma some support. Sometimes family members need to intervene. What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to help someone reach their potential. Many think as mental health as a weakness, but being able to work on ourselves is a tremendous strength. I love working with clients and seeing people fulfill their goals, my moto is that goals are never found in our comfort zones.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think I have a different perspective on what it means to help, I am not here to be pushy, rude, or tell others they are wrong. Now, I will tell you when you are taking steps backwards, doing something you do not agree with, or something that is against your goals, but you are really the one who gets to lead their path, I am here to make sure they stay on that path.
