In town for a few days for the Bronco football home opener. Had a blast tailgating and subsequent game (we won) and had a hankering for a cheeseburger. Looked at yelp and was about to pull the trigger on some Downtown joint when I saw a review for a local bar called the Capitol that said they made the best cheeseburger in Boise hands down. Spilled a li’l for Rutger Hauer tonight at The Capitol Bar. “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe...” What a great character actor. Friendly staff. Watched American Women’s World Cup Soccer at the bar twice; two weeks ago. (11:00 a.m. early starts) Fun atmosphere. Great beer and food! It’s a fun local hangout. Fun patio, too!
