I love camp bow wow!! I love that my dogs are never alone when they are in the play yards and I love that they are only in the yards with their size and temperment. I have 3 and they go a few times a year for overnight stays, ranging anywhere from 1 night to 1 week. They come home so exhausted from all of the play! The best part of all is that you can view your dogs on their webcams on your computer or phone app anytime you like. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow! More...

I have used this location off and on since I moved back to New Orleans in 2013. They went through some rough times and have changed staff. Recently I started to use them again. I can gladly say that my 10 year old puppy loves them. My dog is very sensitive and will not just go off with anyone. When I take him in he goes in happy and come out tired and happy. The recently started a service where they will give your dog cuddle time. I could not be happier with them! More...

These people are so awesome to the point that if its time to put the pups to bed and i see Lilly's blanket fell off her bed -and she has to sleep with her blanket being the spoiled pooch that she is, i can call them and ask them to cover her and then watch them go in and do it! and this happens a good bit-the staff is always so accommodating.

We love Camp Bow Wow. We have used them for years in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The New Orleans location here is great. We have taken our dog here for just the day or days at a time overnight. I love Camp Bow Wow!  The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.  My recent experience with my older dog confirmed that CBW is not just in this for the money.  Shadow is an 11 y/o Schnauzer that I always thought was aggressive.  He has only been around other dogs on limited terms.  I brought him in for an "interview" because I was going to board him and my puppy for a week.  The interview revealed that too many dogs in the room terrified him and caused too much stress.  It was clear that CBW was not going to work for Shadow.  However, they recommended Blakemore Bark as an alternative (a smaller operation).  That worked out beautifully.  I am grateful to CBW for not just taking my money and putting my beloved Shadow in harm's way.  P.S. My puppy is in training at CBW and is doing great! More...

I love the friendly and efficient staff. They are very attentive to the dogs and their owners. We use this Camp Bow Wow with our English Bulldog (AKA our furry son) Frank occasionally, but recently we used them for an extended period of time for our wedding week and our honeymoon, and to say they were outstanding and a lifesaver wouldn't be enough praise. They bathed Frank for me before I picked him up on our wedding day to take pictures with us, and also took amazing care of him while we were busy doing wedding preparations or out of the country. My wife and I accidentally miscounted our food for him by 1 day, and they got ahold of our emergency contact promptly, who got ahold of us and he helped rectify the situation and bring them more food. They are extremely professional and take great care of your dogs (AKA furry sons)! I was so impressed, when we visited the city recently we left my dog here for a couple of days for daycare and grooming. My dog just got back from her first boarding here and I couldn't be more happy with the experience. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and caring with my little pup who had never been boarded. While the initial half day temperament test to see how a dog interacts might seem a hassle to some, it really showed me how much they care about keeping dogs safe and happy in their doggy day care. Its more expensive than say a vets office boarding service but the piece of mind if worth it!  The online cams is great for nervous Nellys like myself.  The upgrade-able rooms for the dogs is great because there is cameras in there too to see your baby sleeping.I recently brought my babies there for Santa pics.  Was hilarious. I find the general temperament of the other dogs similar to mine.  Easy going and friendly.  The ones that are aggressive typically are separated and not invited back.  I have an Australian Shepard and they are familiar with this breeds extra playfulness and that was a nice feeling to have as I drove off.Having been a volunteer at a no kill shelter for awhile (PAWS) I am hyper sensitive to the conditions and treatment of the animals there and I have no beef.  It of course will not be one on one love like your baby would receive at home but its way better than being locked up in a cage all day too.I recommend this location. Love this camp so much. I am a first time dog mama, and therefor fairly hesitant about leaving him in unfamiliar situations. That being said, I am beyond comfortable Leaving him at Bow Wow. After coming in once, most of the staff knew us by name. I have not had even one interaction that was anything short of friendly and professional. We also decided to enroll our dog in obedience classes with Jack. Each class was a pleasure and highly informative. Our dog LOVED coming and loved Jack, his instructor.When we pull into their parking lot, my dog can barely contain himself, he is SO excited. I can't say enough good things about this camp. More...

We really enjoy camp Bow Wow and so do our dogs! The staff is very courteous and the dogs have fun. I also like the camera so I can watch my dogs during the day. I would give five stars except for the fact that you cannot use your daytime dog credits for overnight dog stays at the face value. So, for ex. if you have $75 bucks available to apply to your daytime camp bills it's value is immediately depreciated (say to $50) if you apply it to your over night stay bill. More...

We continue to be very impressed with Camp Bow Wow. My dog Mary has been going here for years. Recently, she became sick halfway through the camp day. The Bow Wow staff immediately noticed, and called us to let us know. They even offered to take her to the vet for us. Bow Wow also didn't charge us for the day because she didn't get a full day of playtime. It was just top notch service all around. We have tried other dog camps and nowhere else in the city compares! Camp bow wow is absolutely incredible! The prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is always super friendly. I have a hyper one year old Australian Shepherd named Westen, who really needs play time. Unlike other kennels, camp bow wow lets your dog play all day in an open area while being supervised. They also have a camp bow wow app, where you can watch your dog while he's having fun at camp. This makes me feel really confident about leaving him, and knowing he won't be cooped up all day.
