Great class with awesome people. Very friendly atmosphere. The kids class is fun my kids love it and I've taken a few self defense classes their as well.

Growing up, I've practiced various forms of martial arts on/off over the decades. I've dabbled in various styles from ancient forms of kickboxing and their combatant forms, mainstream Japanese arts, to modern day progressive MMA sport styles. I do it out of necessity growing up in a rough neighborhood like the Bronx, NY. Now that I have three young daughters of my own, I know how martial arts is a key advantage to developing a child's foundation so he/she may succeed in life. Every kid is different and their strengths and opportunities varies. Martial arts instill discipline, determination, and build confidence in the child. This will translate into whatever the child's endeavor is outside of the Dojo and his/her life in general. We're lucky to come across the Bujinkan Bukeyashiki Dojo. Principal Sensei Michael, Sensei Pablo, and Sensei Woody are attentive, patient, and most important of all, understands how to really build up a child. They're not looking for the kid to perform some advanced move out of the gate; instead, they focus on identifying opportunities to reinforce the child's ability to progress towards a technique. The end result is a well-executed form that the child enjoys and understands rather just mimicking the motion. If you live in the Northeastern part of New Jersey, you owe it to yourself to check out Bujinkan Bukeyashiki Dojo. I highly recommend this Martial Art academy. More...

Great dojo ! Awesome instructors! My son and daughter have been in dojo about 7months now . They are more confident , energetic and more athletic than ever . They love their sensai Mike , Woody and Pablo. Very original and fun . Not like other dojo that give belts and ranks just so the money keeps rolling in . In our dojo you must earn your rank !
