What do you love most about your job?
We enjoy learning new skills. Over the years we're learned how to build decks, remodel kitchens, install floors, and much more. We're driven to keep improving our skillset and look for talented employees who will do the same.
What inspired you to start your own business?
“I founded Brushworks in 2016 with my two sons, drawing on my experience in professional painting and renovation dating back to the 1970’s. For the past five years, our family owned business has been serving the greater Lexington community with one goal in mind: excellence in workmanship. We approach our projects as aspiring master craftsmen, always seeking to expand our knowledge and experience with all things renovation. For us, each job is an opportunity to figure out the best way to finish, repair, install, or build something in order to make our customers' visions a lasting reality. Our question to ourselves has never been simply 'Did we get the job done?' but rather, 'Did we get the job done right?' We believe in building a friendly, long-term relationship with every client, because we’ve done their project exactly to their satisfaction without cutting corners.

Why should our clients choose you?
Our renovators are skilled in all aspects of the job, meaning that we don't hire subcontractors to complete the work. All of the work that we complete for you, is completed under our supervision and will meet our high standards.

We can give ballpark estimates online or through photos, but we'll need to see the project in person to write an accurate quote.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
During Covid-19 we wore masks and social distanced from our customers. We require all of our employees to have been vaccinated for Covid-19. We will follow any additional requests for your safety, just let us know!

We've been completing multiple kitchen cabinet paint projects a month and have perfected a 7 stage painting process to guarantee a long-lasting paint job.

Interior/Exterior Painting
Painting is all about the prep work. We always tape, using FrogTape which blocks the paint and creates straighter lines than we could ever acheive with a brush — even though we're really good with one.
