This was one expense on which I "splurged," so I guess my expectations were really high. I have no complaints, but nothing truly commendable to note either. I am not a music expert, so I assume that this vendor is correct in saying that the following songs can only be played by a string trio (as opposed to a duo): "Winter," "Spring," "Love's Sorrow," and "Love's Joy". . I just got married less than 2 weeks ago and I used Bravo String Quartet for my ceremony music at my wedding and they were lovely! My guests loved walking into our ceremony space (which was outside under a huge olive tree) and hearing the beautiful sounds of a violin duo greet them and play while they sat waiting for the ceremony to start and as other guests arrived. Ripsi was so responsive from the initial contact, to picking out music choices, and ultimately on the day of the wedding. Not only was my experience a positive one, but it really made my day so special and memorable and I will always remember hearing them play the music that my wedding party walked down the aisle to and of course playing the Wedding march for myself. They were wonderful and completely professional and even sought me out after the ceremony to congratulate me and give me happy wishes, which was completely appreciated. We hired Bravo Strings to play during our ceremony for our Disney wedding. We were very happy with their performance they played beautifully. I requested songs that were not on their Song List from their website and they were willing to play any songs as long as I could provide them with the sheet music. They were on time, professionally dressed and played beautifully. After the wedding several of my guests including my photographer mentioned that Bravo Strings asked my coordinator for money. My coordinator assumed we hadn't paid them in full and went to my mother in law for the money. We had paid Bravo Strings in full 2 weeks prior to ceremony. This to me was unprofessional. What they wanted I assume was tips, and even then you shouldn't ask for tips. I had money set aside for tips already but in my opinion tips should be given after the performance if they do a good job you determine how much of a tip should be given. It really bothered me to hear my guests, coordinator were bothered for money when everything was paid for. Except for this issue they were great. More...

Their recommended music list was a good resource and they knew a soft version of the Persian song I wanted them to play during the ceremony (Mobarak Bad). My wedding guests raved about Bravo Strings!! Being the bride I got to hear them for a short period only, but what I heard was MAGNIFICENT! ! Their look was classic and professional. Guests still keep saying how beautifully they played. My dad is a tenor and has been around classical music all of his life and he mentioned how much he would like to have them play for him. In my book there is no higher compliment since my dad is the biggest critic I know! I can't wait to see the video to listen further. Fabulous! I got in touch with Bravo String Quartet at the last minute on Valentines day to rustle up a surprise for my valentine :)They worked their tails off to get a violinist to my girlfriend's house, in full formal tails and bow-tie attire, complete with bouquet in hand and played beautifully - all with a turnaround time of 24 hours. I recently hired Bravo Strings to perform at my home for a private birthday/holiday concert.  I was very impressed by their prompt response to my initial outreach for a quote.  We discussed all the details on the phone and I was mailed a contract to book the date.  The day of the event, the musicians arrived well in advance of their performance time in formal attire.  The musicians are very talented and engaged my guests by taking requests.  Everyone had a very memorable time listening to the intimate live performance of tunes ranging from Eleanor Rigby to Holiday classics and Andrea Bocelli tunes.  They have an extensive selection of sheet music.If you want to host a party and make a lasting impression on your guests, this is the team to contact.  Highly professional, talented, respectful....the best!  I felt like they were part of the family by the end of the evening!!!Thanks again, Bravo Strings!!!!! We chose Bravo String Quartet after careful consideration, for our wedding ceremony in Glendale on May 18th, 2013.
Having live violin players vs just an organ or taped music really added a great touch, and the quality of Bravo String Quartet was second to none.

We used Bravo Strings for our wedding and couldn't have had a better experience. The quartet played for our ceremony and cocktail hour and we used the DJ for our reception. We hired a string trio for our daughter's wedding from Bravo Music and the hiring process, the attentiveness to our needs and questions, the vast array of choices and types of music and the performance at the weddiing were outstanding. We had such fun listening to the sample music selections and they were all played so beautifully that the only problem we had was deciding which to have them play. They gave excellent guidance and even on the day of the wedding offered some advice on the timing of the procession that made everything flow very smoothly. Planning a wedding can be an overwhelming task; one is pressured of the thought of making everything perfect for each attending guest a task hard to accomplish. This is especially true when it comes to music. We were pressured even more since we had a double wedding (me and my sister were getting married the same day) with a diverse mixture of guests. 60 out of 300 of our guests were from different cultures (from our workplaces) and religions. We were going to have a Christian wedding and it was challenging to meet everyone\'s expectations.\r\nThere are languages that are widely spoken and understood among many cultures of the world – English and Spanish are such languages. In musical world classical music is such an instrument - it crosses the cultural barriers. It is very elegant and is always in style. We are glad for the divine providence that brought us to Bravo Strings quartet. They were easy to talk to, their service was fairly priced, and they were willing to go the extra mile to make the wedding special. In addition to classical music we wanted some of our Christian hymns to be rendered by the strings quartet as well. Bravo Strings told us that it is possible as long as we provide the sheet music. We provided them with sheet music pieces written for one instrument realizing that it was not arranged for a string quartet and did not expect the music to sound very rich. During the wedding I heard them playing those hymns and was pleasantly surprised it actually sounded rich because each of the instruments was playing a different set of notes. It sounded like they arranged the single instrument music for their strings quartet on-the-fly.\r\nMany people were fascinated by the music and we got a lot of questions about the quartet from our guests during and after the wedding.
