She was the perfect presence during all the moments of our wedding: the joyful, the beautiful, and even the stressful. Weddings are once in a lifetime events which warrant a photographer you can trust--there is no second chance at capturing the moment. Brenda’s photos captured the essence of the occasion in a way that gave the truth to the saying “a picture is a thousand words”.

From our very first meeting, she was genuinely interested in getting to know us. When we had a pre-wedding event for our closest friends, she came to meet them so that when it came time for the wedding, she was already a friend and her presence was perfectly natural. She is fluent in both Spanish and English which made interactions with our guests seamless--she understood both cultures and adapted to all the situations our event rolled out.

We can't do justice in this short review to describe our gratefulness towards Brenda--our wedding was perfect, and she was no small part of that. Then, following the wedding, Brenda continued to be responsive, attentive and invested in ensuring we were completely happy with our videos and photographs. And in every way she has over-delivered.

From the first time I spoke with Brenda, I trusted her 100%. She was my photographer for my engagement session and my wedding party and was absolutely perfect! Aside from being an incredibly talented photographer, she is a master at putting you at ease while you're being photographed. Another super valuable quality is that she's Peruvian and American, so she knows both languages and both cultures as well as the other and can flow between the two seamlessly. As I'm American and my husband is Peruvian, our guests came from both countries for our wedding in Mexico, so her ability to adapt and understand both sides of the family was essential. She was able to help everyone relax and always knew exactly where to be to capture countless special moments with beautiful photos. We had seen work of Brenda before our wedding and we liked the artistic look of her photos. For our wedding we didn't only want the standard shots, we wanted to work with someone whom we felt capable of capturing the emotions and the little details that make a wedding day special.
Brenda is exactly that kind of photographer. We did a session with her on beforehand to get to know each other and that definitely helped, but Brenda is in general very good at getting comfortable with the people and the surroundings. There is a plan, but with plenty of improvisation along the way, if she sees a good opportunity.
When we saw the shots that she took, we were pleased that the sort of artistic look was there and we were even more pleased to what extent she had been able to capture exactly those moments that were the most emotional and powerful for us. This combination of capturing emotions in an artistic style was exactly what we wanted and therefore we are very grateful to Brenda.
If you are looking for a photographer with a personal touch, that tries to understand you and your wishes, while at the same time maintaining a high artistic standard, Brenda is your girl. Highly recommended. More...

Brenda did a beautiful and spellbinding job documenting my wedding - and best of all -she accomplished this in an easy, natural way. My family and friends were so glad to have her near us because she understands how sepcial the day is and she has a great sense of humor.
