Bow Wags

Brought my baby here for the first time today and I am so happy I did! She did half a day of doggy day care and then was groomed, I’m so impressed. They made me so comfortable as soon as I walked in the door (I’m not sure who has worse separation anxiety, me or my dog) and it’s a huge plus for me that they post photos on Facebook of all the pups to update you throughout the day. They also did a wonderful job on her grooming. I gave them specific instructions on what I do and do not like and they didn’t let me down! Will be returning soon :) More...

The folks at Bow Wags truly put out pets first. They took such kind and gentle care of our very old, high maintenance Miniature Schnauzer. I strongly recommend them!

I asked for recommendations from our neighborhood news & gots several. I’ve always liked Bow Wags but hadn’t really worked with them before much. This summer our family went out of state & after checking some places I decided to try Bow Wags. On the 4th of July weekend everyone was booked, I’d never needed this before so I was late. Bow Wags got me in for the temperament test, it went well & so it was. I’ll use them for boarding any time, I love how personable they are & the great communication. We can tell that Dave (one of the franchise owners) and Cassandra (Facility manager) LOVE dogs, referred to as "campers".. . There is an old saying way before 'Gump' quoted it, "..Life is like a box of chocolates.. you never know what you're going to get. ..". You will always get excellent service A1 at this wonderful, warm, roomy , clean pet (dog)boarding. Guy, (yes.. my hubby's name is actually, "Guy". ) has been late at times in returning from many a trip that was either a late plane or a late start-[mostly drove]… They are closed on Sunday. Well.. not only does 'Dave', owner send me regular updates of GiGi's well being... he has let us come late Saturday night after I selfishly begged!. He had worked all day and as I tried to tip him the money for returning to meet us, pick up GiGi.. He wouldn't take it. He'd say, "I'm just going to give this to the groomer." We had already tipped her, generously. That's Dave. I asked him when the last time was that he went on a vacation? "I have not had one since I took ownership.." [a long time ago, folks!] And I have asked him to meet us Sunday or Saturday night so we could get GiGi. I guess I'm a hovering helicopter pet mom. OK: Difficult to turn into this place. After you pass Kroger ..on Right if heading South on Powder Springs Road, you will start to approach a Dollar Store and Chick Fil A , Windy Hill/ Macland crossing. Above their sign , :"BOW WAGS" is another sign that you need to look for. It is a brightly lit sign that advertises the neighbor's business. What else? A place that makes signs. Right below that you'll see moving pictures - marquis style, "Bow Wags is the little red house in front of Sign Store. Careful when turning left. If coming north, don't miss steep , tiny hill down to Bow Wags. My only complaint? Gigi is too spoiled and doesn't play with the dogs that much. She loves the people more! Oh me! I am so thankful I found this place! My pooch loves daycare there- she’s made many friends and Dave and his team treat her like family. She drags me in there each time I bring her and she hates to leave. She loves boarding there too, as they take the dogs out for hours of playtime. I highly recommend Bow Wags. They are amazing!!! This is a great place to take your dog for boarding. They take care of your dog like they are apart of their family. Great to see places like this that let your dog play all day instead of being in a cage all day.
