Every meal here is perfection. That is one reason we keep coming back. In fact this was our second night in a row. Another reason is that the owners Hector and Petra make you feel so at home. Good value. A must try.

Bonta has a decent mix of Argentinian, German and Italian menu options, the food has been consistently good and it remains a go-to option for a casual meal when I'm in town. I do wish they had a wider variety of empanadas, asado & other typical Argentinian dishes like choripan, matambre, lomo, milanesas and so on however. For a livelier environment, I recommend going when they have live music or their flamenco nights (why they aren't tango or chamame nights I'm not sure). More...

We’ve eaten at Bonta before, but I can NEVER remember getting better service. Our server was delightful. He got us cocktails from the bar and allowed us to visit with no pressure. He knew we were going to a play at CV Rep afterwards and approached our table to tell us he was about to take a large order from another table and suggested we order before the larger order was placed to ensure we received our meal more quickly and to give us enough time to eat before the theatre. Our first time. A varied menu of Argentinian, Italian, German. Something for everyone to try. The restaurant is very lively with high ceilings, so a bit loud and festive. Not for a romantic, quiet dinner. Our meals were very good. Service was better than most restaurants. We'll probably return with people we know would really appreciate the eclectic menu. We always enjoy eating at Bonta. The German plate is our favorite, but we also enjoy the 2kinds of schnitzels. There is something here for everyone, German, Argentinian, Italian, and a variety of fish dishes. This coupled with a friendly staff and almost always the owners stop by to say hi and make sure everything was to your liking. Never leave without having the best strudel outside of Germany and Austria. An excellent family run restaurant awaits you. Now with the CVRep theater next door, it may be best to make reservations. We enjoyed our meal at Bonta from the beginning to the end. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us frequently. There were many options on the menu that sounded interesting and we had a hard time deciding what to order. Our meal was excellent and prepared well.
