Mike is a true professional and master of his craft. As an instructor, he is always prepared with a plan that aligns to the students skill level and desired style of music at the beginning of each lesson. He is great with those that have never played before, pretty much where I started and has the knowledge and skill to work with very advanced players. In my opinion, this is not an instructor that will run out of ideas of ways and things to teach you. I decided to start playing guitar at 60, with no prior musical knowledge whatsoever. I did some on line lessons for a while, then decided to take lessons in person. I was really nervous before that first lesson, but Mike couldn't have been any more patient, understanding and supportive. His approach to teaching was to keep building on the things I learned that really made sense to me. I'm amazed at how much I learned in the three years I took lessons from Mike.
