Marquet is awesome!!! She did my daughter's ballet photos and they came out so good!!! She had the best location and was great with my 4 year old. She had my shy little girl posing, smiling, dancing, and being silly the entire time. Everything was completed in a timely manner and communication was great. Two months before my wedding my photographer canceled on me! I was recommended to bluejay photography! Where to begin! As soon as I liked the page I received a welcome and information on the photography. Marquet was not at all pushy. She was so easy to talk to and helpful with any and all questions that I had! Based on her work and attitude, I scheduled a maternity shoot, fresh 48 shoot, and newborn pictures with her which she made into a package! We have only done and received our maternity pictures so far and I can honestly say myself and my husband are absolutely thrilled we found her! Her work is absolutely beautiful, Prices were so competitive, and she is so welcoming and sweet! My husband is not a big picture guy but after the first 5 mins he was laughing and just felt so comfortable! I will defiantly be taking my photos with Marquet from here on out! She is an amazing photographer! She's great with kids! My son usually refuses to cooperate when it comes to our yearly photos and Marquet had him smiling, talking, and posing! I had and amazing experience with Bluejay Photography and my photographer Marquet Jones. I wasn't the typical bride that needed everything to be perfect and planned everything out. I actually was very laid back and didn't even have too much of a schedule for my photos, but my photographer was very easy to work with and helped me put everything together. my wedding was western themed at Calico Ghost Town and she did an awesome job capturing the theme and beauty of everyone and everything. I originally had a vision of what I wanted for our family photo & used prior photographer & the vision was not delivered. Then by grace at my daughters dance studio Bluejay Photography was doing their photo shoot & her work looked worth giving a try . So I re-booked another photo session with my family to try Bluejay out & she was on point. She knew best lighting & times of day to shoot for the vision I had. She was sweet & extremely approachable. She made my children feel comfortable & not shy away from the camera, including my husband. She is efficient & delivered above my expectations. We had the hardest time picking our favorites as everything she had to show us were our favorites (good problem to have). Eventually we decided on our very best but I am still inclined to go purchase the others I didn't get because they are truly that good!

The experience & quality was so great that not even a month later I called her for some specific headshots that I needed for my real estate business & once again she delivered the results I desired & envisioned. She listened to my expectations on my photos & paid attention to the smallest details that made the difference to me.

Working with Bluejay photography was such a wonderful experience. We did family photos with our 5 month old. Marquette was so sweet and made the whole process so fun and so easy. I gave her some ideas of what I was looking for ( some things very specific and some pretty vague) but somehow she managed to pick the most perfect location, props, and poses, and was able to really capture exactly what I was hoping for. First, let me say that Marquet is EXCELLENT at what she does! My family photos were amazing! She expertly coordinates the venue with the just right amount of lighting (I'm told sunrise and sunset are best) and a few natural poses and BOOM! all of a sudden you look like you're in a magazine! I was very self-conscious about the few extra pounds I had gained but Marquet strategically positioned her camera in such a way that made the end product just incredible--it was like, "what weight?" She just made me feel so comfortable and nothing was awkward or forced. I have two kids and she was so patient with them and kept trying new things to get the perfect shot. Bluejay Photography was amazing to work. We were able to request the day after Thanksgiving to do a photo shoot with not problems even though it was the Holiday weekend. We were able to pick the location and give our thoughts of what we were looking for in the photo shoot without Marquet trying to change our minds. Although she would give us her professional opinion of what could and couldnt work. We requested quite a bit and nothing was too big for her to fulfill what we were expecting. She even hauled props with her to meet our expectations of the outdoor photo shoot that we desired. It was Awesome! Marquet was a delight to work with and definitely went over and beyond our expectations. She caught the most precious and priceless shots of our grandson and his family. Photos were clear and crisp. When the photos were ready to view, we were given multiple options to view them, since my son and his family lived several hours away. We were offered a gallery style view or online. We had to choose online. Marquet was on the phone and explaining everything while my sons family viewed their photos. You won’t be sorry by choosing Bluejay Photography.
