What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Every project I undertake is a collaboration in a sense, and the first step is to determine the collaborative ratio. Do you have very specific ideas regarding the content you wish to create, or do you need a bit more guidance from your photographer to help realize your goals? Do you prefer to shoot in a studio setting or at a location that may be more convenient for you? What is your time frame? Your budget? Your overall expectations? The more information we can share, the more successful the overall project will become.

Portraits
The difference between a portrait and a head shot is primarily the element of personality. And personality in a photograph can be conveyed through location, wardrobe, pose, props, and attitude. Add a second person and the possibilities expand exponentially.
I shoot simple portrait work at my home studio and more creative concepts on location as needed.

I've worked with over a hundred models to build portfolios for commercial work, social media, and paid direct-to-consumer content. Many are returning clients.
