What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The right light. Lighting is the key to all great photography, and the right light for products or people is no different. Understanding what light will show off your product best is the secret we use to make it stand out. With people, whether it's a soft, swaddling light for a baby or a deep, dramatic light for an actor's headshot, we always know the lighting is the secret.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We'd want to know what kind of photos you really want. What styles do you like? Have you ever wanted to try something different, offbeat, dramatic?
We'd want to know how soon you need to book your shoot and get your photos.
We'd want to know just how in-depth you'd want your session to be so that we can plan ahead together.
What do you love most about your job?
When we make photos that make people happy, photos that people fall in love with, photos that will become timeless.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We wanted to have a photo studio of our own instead of always working on location. Now we can do both.
