We had an excellent reception with rave reviews from all guests. Joe, our DJ, made it fun and kept our guests engaged for the entire 5 hour reception. He was able to provide our party with maximum entertainment with very little of our involvement prior to and most importantly during our event. My husband and I how to find a back up DJ plan for our wedding party due to Covid rescheduling requirements. After much searching we found Joe with Big Island Productions who exceeded any expectations. We were very nervous about the music selection and found Joe was in a perfect price range with an excellent personality. His experience has allowed him to feel out the guests and cater our music list to our personalized wedding experience. He’s very knowledgeable, is very flexible with whether you have strict or loose guidelines for music recommendations, and he was excellent the night out. He took charge of the timeline, kept us informed and worked very well with the coordinator.

We’d be happy to use them for any event at any point in the future and highly recommend him to anyone.

He also came to our venue which was new for him and did an excellent job adjusting to the environment and acoustics.

Joe was a great addition to our wedding day! He was very responsive from day one. He provided us with an organized list of what needed to be done in terms of music and provided input for our schedule of the day. He was patient with us throughout the entire process and even met with us prior to wedding day to review song choices and what we were looking for. Joe was the BEST!! From the beginning stages of planning up until the day of, he was communicative and even gave song suggestions when we were lost. With COVID we had a small wedding and he came to the venue with us and our coordinator to determine where a good set up would be a month before, on his own time without us asking him! The music flowed perfectly throughout the night and we were surprised at how many people were dancing. Everyone keeps raving about how great the music was and how it truly made the night. We were worried about the sound with our dances outside, but it was perfect. He played the songs we requested (even had songs that went perfectly with our type) and played the few my mom asked to be played. We highly recommend Joe!! Plus he was beyond reasonably priced!!
