Best Friends Bed & Biscuit

I found bed and biscuit when searching for a trusted doggy daycare for my younger mastiff, Kleo. My fiancé and I boarded both of our babies their for a few days to go on vacation and sent Kleo to them for daycare on one occasion. When they were boarded, they got complimentary baths and we were getting compliments well into a month after on how great they smelled. They didn’t have any dandruff and their coats were beyond soft and shiny. With Christmas coming up, we wanted them to smell great like that again so we took them on Saturday 12/19 to be groomed. Upon picking them up, everything seemed alright, but when I got home and went to get them out of the car, the rear paws of my youngest, Kleo, were covered in dried blood and she had 3 blood spots on her rear right leg. I had her lay down so I could investigate and I found that 4 out of 8 of her rear quicks had been cut into pretty significantly. I grabbed baby wipes and proceeded to clean up the blood. When I picked her up, no one informed me that she had gotten hurt while being groomed nor did they bother to clean the blood off of her before sending her home with me. After sending an email, I was contacted by the manager who ultimately refunded us our money for Kleo’s grooming service. On top of Kleos injuries, both Kardi and Kleo had so much dandruff that you could see it just sitting on their fur so I spent about 30-45 minutes brushing and wiping them to try to reduce some of it. Both had random spots throughout their coat that smelled okay but when petting them, I could feel left over dander on my hand as well as smell odor on my hand. My fiancé spoke with the manager today and she was told that they had used our kids for training purposes and that is why Kleo’s quicks had been clipped. We were not informed that the service that we were paying full price for would be completed by an inexperienced groomer and therefore could not opt our kids out. As a result, Kleo was hurt. While the manager was professional and kind, we will no longer be using their services because I cannot trust that our kids will be in good hands at all times. More...

My dog is seven months old and a first time boarder. We searched and found Best Friends and we are so glad we trusted them! Stella, our dog had some nervousness settling in to eat and adjusting to play time with the other dogs for the first couple days. They were in constant contact with us two or three times a day , letting us know how she was doing and what could they offer her to get her eating. We finally got it figured out and she had the absolute best time! She’s exhausted now that she’s back home and so happy! I’ve never received such first class care of my pets as this place. I will never take any of my pets anywhere else! You must check this place out! I’d give them 100 stars if I could! This was the first time we boarded our baby girl Allie! I was as nervous as she was but it went well! The staff is great and continued to keep me updated! They called me, texted me and kept me informed on her progress and needs. There is a variety of activities to try out as well as use daily. Thank you all so much for loving our baby as much as we do! There are no words for the peace of mind we receive when dropping our little boy off here. It has been a hectic year for us, adding a HIGH-energy Vizsla puppy to the mix has made things only more stressful. Finding this establishment has been a saving grace. Rugby feels safe and cared for there and has an amazing time playing ALL day long. When the staff come to greet him and us, they know his name...they listen to us and our dog. The entire staff is top-notch professional, very well-trained, and ON it.These owners have it together and one can tell just by setting a foot into the place. The grounds-inside and out-are clean and immaculate, with a pool too!We wouldn't trust any other place in Greensboro (and we've tried others-so we know) to care for our dog. More...

I can’t say enough good things about Best Friends Bed and Biscuit and the way they treated my guy while I was away! It made me feel so at ease to know how nice everyone was and I knew he was in good hands, but to see how clean and happy and worn out he is now that he’s home takes it to the next level! Bed & Biscuit took such great care of our Rosie (bully mix) whom we lost 8 years ago. They loved her so much and she was so happy to pull in their driveway. My dogs have always LOVED coming here!! They get excited as soon as we turn in the parking lot! They have fun in the pool and enjoy meeting new friends. When they come home they sleep for days. I picked up my 3 year old, very energetic lab mix Kona, this morning from boarding his first weekend. He is the biggest sweetheart, but is very high energy. Finding a place that understands that and knows how to safely care for my boy has been difficult. He has come home from so many boarding experiences, full of energy, because he was only able to play in small doses. Not this time!! Kona has been sound asleep all day!! The pictures and report cards are adorable and I can tell just from the pictures and comments that the staff understands what he needs (and loves!). We boarded our two dogs here for the first time from 12/15-12/17/18 while we were out of town. When we picked them up today, it was crystal clear that they were very well cared for and loved on! They had been bathed and smelled fantastic. They apparently got plenty of exercise and activity because they were worn out when we picked them up! Our dogs LOVED their time here!! We so appreciate the extra special touches of their cute and very colorful little bows that they were wearing when we picked them up!? The staff is exceptional, super friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Big shout out to Gina for being willing to come in a whole hour early on Saturday morning so that we could get a head start on our 7 hr road trip, you rock Gina!!? Very happy with our experience!!
