What do you love most about your job?
I love watching from behind the scenes as couples celebrate their best day ever together. Watching family celebrate and able to relax is one of the best things about my job!
What inspired you to start your own business?
When my previous business partner + mentor Kristin asked me to be a part of Bells Bows and Vows, I was not interested in officiating weddings, which was why she created the company. But, I love coordinating and managing projects. I am a very detail-oriented, type A person with years of event planning experience, so I decided to take a shot at wedding coordination. The very first client I coordinated for was for a high school friend, Emma. Emma and her mom did most of the planning, and I had an absolute blast making the event come to fruition. Everything went smoothly and flawlessly. I received an overwhelmingly positive response from the couple, the parents, and the guests. And I realized this was what I wanted to do.
I am super passionate about creating space to allow my clients to really slow down and embrace all the special moments that happen on a day that tends to go by so quickly. I absolutely love my couples and the ways I am able to use my skills and knowledge to serve them on their happiest day.
Why should our clients choose you?
My wedding coordination process is professionally designed to get to know the couple and help them achieve their wedding day goals. The wedding is about the couple, not me or anyone else. With that in mind, I do my best to mediate any wants anyone else who might want to be involved in the planning process. My goal is to relieve as much stress off the couple as well as their family so everyone can enjoy the day.
When hiring a planner, the most important thing is to make sure it's someone you can trust. That person will be directing, problem solving, finishing details, collaborating with vendors, and so much more on your behalf. Basically, they are the conductor of arguably the most important and special day of your life, so you want to make sure you can have a good relationship with them.
The biggest benefit I give to my clients is the space to be physically, mentally, and emotionally available to soak in every special moment of their wedding day with no added stresses.

I absolutely can and do! When I have out of town clients I often offer Zoom communications. Obviously for the wedding day and rehearsal I will need to be there in person. But otherwise, I do offer remote communication and meetings.
