We waited almost two hours for a table (not surprising) but what was surprising was how with all the graduation dinner reservations that were there, lil old us were never treated as anything other than a priority. The hostess was doing a fantastic job and never once got flustered by the crowds, requests or demands by others waiting patrons. When we were finally seated the service was amazing. Stopped at Barcelona on a work trip with my coworkers, we shared several small plates and cocktails. Every dish we tried was phenomenal! At the end of the meal it was hard to choose a favorite plate! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when asked about the local food and entertainment scene and provided us with several places to check out. This was my first time in this part of town much less to a tapas bar (which apparently means small plates of small food). The servers went out of their way to introduce themselves and were friendly right up to the line of being uncomfortable . We were there for my son's graduation party, so we had a bunch of people in our party. They set us up nicely on the patio and kept the food and drink flowing. I’ve been here multiple times (I live just outside of the city). I keep coming up with excuses to bring my friends out here to celebrate one thing or another. The service is amazing (half of the times I’ve been here we’ve been treated to dessert) and the food is some of the best in Boston. You have to try this place we celebrated a birthday party here and couldn't have picked a better place. The food was excellent and the service is outstanding. We arrived on time for our reservation and no sooner we enter the door we were greeted with a warm, kind and friendly hostess, who lead us to the perfect table. Soon after our waiter appeared to also greet and welcome us to the establishment. Once seated he began serving us water with the choice of sparkling or tap water. Once again kind and very professional. His recommendations were put to the test and sure was a great selection. We ate what he recommended and definitely not disappointed. Ending the night with a birthday cake that aimed to please. Chocolate cake with fresh hand made drizzled chocolate. The crowd was trendy and polite. Not one person seemed disappointed with anything this place has to offer. Please don't take my word for it and try it yourself and am sure you will be leaving a review as I have? Found my happy place in Nashville! The wine list is excellent, the service exceptional, the bacon wrapped dates are amazing, and the olives take me right back to Spain! We sat on their patio, which was lovely as it has trees blocking the street noise. The red sangria was just okay (although we loved the one with the twist of grapefruit) and the tortilla was a little dry for Spanish standards, but still good for American standards. Really great place. My husband and I felt like we were still in NYC. We got a spot at the bar right away which was like a rectangle or square shape. We had drinks and appetizers. Great service and amazing food! When I was introduced to this place, I was told it was very pricey which put me off from going, as tapas places tend to add up. I can say that unless you get the actual plates (ie paella) this place is so reasonably priced, and SO worth it for the food. The food was very good. The price of a Bloody Mary was $11.50 for a tiny drink. No value there. The Vegetarian Paella was way over priced. $32 the seafood paella almost $50.
