What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret? It's like making the perfect sandwich - start with a base of good light, layer on some interesting composition, add a juicy moment of action or emotion, and top it all off with a dollop of your personal style. Voila! You've got a snapshot that's worth a thousand words, and a few 'oohs' and 'aahs', too!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are they hoping to use these photos/videos for? That will impact the type of composition and storytelling for each project.
For videos, how long of a video are you looking for, where will you be using it (i.e. social media, website or just to have it).
Mostly questions to ensure that I can produce the exact photos and videos they are looking for.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people's visions come to life and keeping the process efficient yet enjoyable. Photos and videos are an art form, and art is supposed to be fun!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to have a place where I could do business the way I thought was best. Where no one could dictate how I should do a project, so that I could ensure my clients are getting what they asked for.
