I've been a customer of ATD for over 20 years and Dan is as solid and as professional as they get. Â He'll give you advice right over the phone if he feels there is something simple you've overlooked. His services are fairly priced and being in the business for 30 yrs, he knows a few things about garage doors, installation and repair. Â He's the only guy I call with a garage door malfunction. Excellent installation, beautiful product and advice for maintenance, with a better selection and price than the big box stores. Gilbert, who works for Dan, the owner of ATD, was on time, was very polite and courteous, and did a professional installation. I wanted a garage door opener that was quiet (DC motor) Â and LED lighting. Â A Liftmaster 8550WLED-267 was recommended and is perfect. The opener is surprisingly quiet, opens the door quickly but also slows down slightly as it finishes opening or closing. Â The LEDs are actual diodes on both sides of the opener and light up the whole garage when activited. Â The remotes are included as well as a wall control. The wall control has buttons to operate both the door and LED lights. Â Its screen tells you the time and (garage) temperature. I have not yet added the app to my phone yet, but so far based on my initial experience, this opener can only get better...I highly recommend Dan and Gilbert from ATD! More...

These guys are my go to for all my garage door issues. Â I have had other companies before and have learned the hard way that I really need someone honest specially being a woman sometimes other companies feel that they can take advantage of my naiveness. The first company we called never returned my calls, so we were delighted that ATD called right back. The date set to come out was within a couple days. I have to say that they were a no-show for the morning appt, but when we called he said he forgot his scheduler that day, and arranged for someone to come out later in the day. They came, gave us a much lower quote than the original company, and came back the next morning to do the work. They were very efficient, and our old door is smooth and quiet now. Thank you ATD! Â Customer service was top notch. Â Gilbert was very professional. Â Gave me all my options and wouldn't take a tip (small for lunch, I don't carry cash! ). Â He was quick and thorough. Â Dan took my initial call, very helpful and was available to come the same day. Dan was great, I had a nasty shimmy to my garage door accompanied by a horrible nails on chalkboard groaning. By the time Dan came by, I had sorted out my problem with a can of WD40, but he told me it's a temporary solution, which lubricant I needed for my drive, where I can get it, and exactly where to apply it. Dan is the real deal. He is an old fashioned repair guy with the highest of integrity and quality. His prices are reasonable and he will look for ways to save you money. A neighbor recommended him and it was one of the best experiences I had from a service person. I WILL USE NOBODY ELSE!!!I have been ripped off multiple times by garage repair firms that advertise in the flyers which send out unqualified and dishonest service techs that try and sell you services you do not need and in most cases the techs are independent contractors and the firm will not stand behind their work.
