There's no doubt Bark 'n Call was a great find when I moved to the area. Melissa has been taking care of my miniature pinscher mix for about 4 years and we couldn't be happier. She shows a genuine concern for my pet (and me) and communicates daily what they did for the afternoon visit. Not only do they walk but, Melissa takes the time to play. She's courteous, flexible, knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy and I feel makes the world better for pets and their owners. Melissa has been taking care of our pets for over 5 years now. She is always dependable and willing to do anything you need to ensure a relaxing vacation. She goes above and beyond taking care of the pets and has been so helpful with the house as well. I have text her asking her to please take the trash to the street, water the window boxes, or get packages off the porch and they were done without hesitation! She spends quality time with our pets, making sure they each feel love! Even our cat comes out to greet her!! Melissa always gives them time to eat and potty, she is not just in and out. Melissa has been phenomenal in caring for our dog, Gobi, and granddog, Rudy for many years! She's honest, loving, extremely reliable, conscientious, and spends extra time giving TLC. We look forward to our mid-day text updates when we're away on vacation. During Hurricane Matthew, we were out of town. Melissa's house had no power, and there were trees down across the road in her neighborhood, yet she still was planning on somehow getting here to take care of our dog! (We told her that was too dangerous, and we would ask a neighbor.) But that just gives you a sense of her heart and character. Simply the best person to care for your pets! More...

We cannot say enough amazing things about Melissa!
She has been visiting our sweet guy, Jax, for the last couple years and she has been nothing short of kind and loving towards him.
When we leave for work, we have no doubts in our mind that Melissa will be there for him at his schedule time. On top of that, she always texts us when she leaves and fills us in on their play date. Melissa has even watched Jax while my husband and I went on vacation. We always vacationed easy knowing that when Jax was with Melissa he was safe and fed, and most importantly getting tons of love and playtime!

My husband and I were only going to be out for the day but that was too long for the two fur babies to be alone. Â We looked into boarding them, but the tests and immunizations that they needed were going to cost about $140 each (not including the price of the actual boarding). Â So we went the pet sitting. Â Melissa is very busy and still found time to come and meet me and my doggies and put us into her busy Saturday schedule (we kind of waited until last minute to call). Â My babies loved her from the moment she walked in. Â She is so good with them. Â I got text messages while I was away to let me know everything was great. Â I wasn't worried at all while we were gone. Â I knew they were in good hands. Â She even checked the following day to make sure that we made it home safe. When my husband and I booked a cruise, we didn't check with our pet sitter, who we normally use and is very familiar with our fur babies and whom I totally trust  first  to see if she would be able to watch our fur babies.  She said she would be out of town on the dates needed in which i started to stress because one of my fur babies has diabetes and must be feed and given her insulin at specific times 2 times a day.  I found the listing for "At your Bark 'N Call'" and gave them a call.  We set up an appointment to meet and greet and my two babies really liked Melissa (the owner) .  My diabetic girl does not take to people easily but  warmed up to Melissa right away.  I explained in detail instructions on caring for my babies.  Melissa wrote everything down, was not in a rush and then went over everything with me at the end of our visit..  Upon our return from our cruise we were so impressed with the care and attention Melissa gave to my babies.  As we were pulling into the driveway, Melissa was just closing the door to leave.  She gave me a quick run down (I was the one in a hurry).  When we came into the house we found our babies happy and content. I know my dogs and would be able to tell if they were stressed in any way and they were not!  I would definately recommend At Your Bark 'N Call without reservations.  Just so happy we found Melissa when we were in a pinch. As a single business professional with 2 four legged kids I need as much help as I can get. Melissa from Bark 'n Call came to the rescue. She's amazing with my dogs and is always there when she says she will be there. I have 2 large breed male dogs so I was hesitant to let just anyone take care of them. Melissa swings by my house a few times per week to give my boys some outside time. She's even been available to feed them in the evenings when I'm going to be home late and even leaves a light on for them/me. The price is MORE than fair and the peace of mind I get far out weighs the $$. I HIGHLY recommend At Your Bark'n Call to anyone who wants the best for their pet. More...

I enjoy being able to help and support people and their pet(s) by providing kindness, love and good communication to ensure that the pet is receiving the best care possible.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in Corporate America for over 35 years and never felt that I was making a difference in the world. Serving others by caring for pets is my calling and was the purpose behind starting this business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I offer free consultations specifically to allow the clients & pet(s) to meet me without any monetary committment. I feel that the client should be able to take time, discuss the pet(s) routine and hear feedback from me to be sure that I am a good fit for the family and pet(s).
Pet Care, Walking
On EVERY visit we provide lots of affection
and TLC! Playtime, walks, fresh food and water, scooping the litter box or the yard, bringing in the mail & watering the plants are all part of the package. Pets love in home care. It reduces exposure to illness and there is no travel trauma.
Also, don’t sweat the small stuff! We will provide light sweeping/vacuuming if
needed, water plants, bring in mail, take garbage & recycling bins to and from the curb, managing lights and blinds
