Warm and welcoming. A wonderful place to have a cozy holiday family get together.Excellent wine list, steak cooked perfectly and the swordfish was tender, well seasoned and served with wild rice and asparagus. Highly recommended!

Went there with a friend to have a nice quiet dinner with drinks. The atmosphere was great. They had the fireplaces on which helped create a good ambiance. The food was delicious. I ordered the grilled oysters and crabcake sandwich. The drinks were okay as well. I would definitely recommend it. The best thing is it was a Saturday night and most places play loud music and it's difficult to hear conversations. This place was perfect. Kudos to Cantwells! More...

Review of the Dover store. Great location, ambiance is great. I'm always very comfortable here. Usually always have a good experience and the food is good. Two nights ago we went for dinner, grabbed a bottle of wine and about 3 different appetizers. One of them was shrimp and andouille sausage (cooked perfectly and delicious)The service was great our waitress checked up on us consistently. We left her 40% tip roughly. The following day we went back for lunch. I decided to try the Shrimp and Grits with andouille sausage. Said the grits were cheesy on the menu, I didn't see or taste any cheese. The andouille sausage was way overcooked. The waitress checked on us once and I brought it to her attention about the "no cheese" she said "it's mixed in there." (Definitely NOT cheesy grits) then I pointed out how the sausage was overcooked (dried out and almost burnt) she said "it always looks like that" so I proceeded to tell her it didn't look that way last night and it tasted delicious. (Mind you I've eaten it for years and know exactly how it's supposed to look/taste.) she then said "well I wasn't here last night." Unbelievable! She came back 10 minutes later and I asked for the check. She never mentioned my complaint. Then she brought the check back and still no mention of it. No manager ever came up to talk to me. So I asked her if she said anything and she said "yes, the manager told me to go back there and tell them to make some fresh sausage." Well what does that do for me? Never offered to remake my dish or comp anything. Never a visit from anyone. Left her a 15% tip and walked out hungry. We were planning on returning again this weekend but probably not now. Definitely need some serious training in this place! Has GREAT potential but lacking in service and quality!! Good luck going forward! More...
