As a trainer, Ari is very patient, yet motivational at the same time. She keeps in mind what your capabilities are and if you're tired doing a workout you can physically do, she'll push you to just do three more. If it's a workout you're completely unable to do, she doesn't make you feel guilty or bad about your body and is super quick to find an alternate exercise. As someone who has quite a few restrictions, I found this quality of hers really calming and felt better about my body as well. I was hesitant meeting Ari for the first time because it takes me time to open up and share my health with someone, but she listened like a friend. As a person, she is kind, helpful, funny, and a team player. She won't intimidate you and judgily watching you do your exercise. She'll do it with you or talk about random things with you. That helped me a lot too because a big reason I didn't like going to the gym was because of the judgmental eyes or trainers just staring. There were also a few times when life was too much and I'd cry during my sessions and Ari would sit by me and we'd just talk through our emotions. She'd share about herself as well. There were some days where she could just tell from my mood that I wasn't myself. Personally, I really appreciated the understanding and empathy between us. Also, I text her a bunch of times regarding health and diet questions and she's always full of great advice. I really look forward to bettering my health with the help of Ari again. Arijana does an amazing job as a personal trainer. I was quite intimated by working with a personal trainer at the gym early on. Arijana worked with me to understand what my goals were, assess my current fitness levels and then helped create a plan that met me where I was in my fitness life. She consistently evaluated my progress, made adjustments as and when needed. She seemed to know exactly what I needed in every session, which included knowing when to push me a little harder and when I was DONE. She was quick to make adjustments for my left arm and shoulder which was very weak and stiff as the result of an injury suffered in an auto accident 30+ years ago. She was able to help me figure out how to significantly increase the strength and range of motion in that arm in ways that I would never have thought of on my own. Ari has been a vital source of inspiration and encouragement for me as I struggle to regain my health after a decade of sitting at a desk for hours every day, with little to no physical activity. Her personal and professional goal to promote wellness in all areas of life has resounded deeply with me. She is skilled and patient, knowledgeable and caring. A well balanced diet supplies the nutrients your body needs to work effectively and helps reduce the risk of health problems like heart disease and diabetes. It also helps with sleeping patterns, energy levels, and your general health. You may have noticed that your mood often affects the types of food you choose, as well as how much you eat.
Without balanced nutrition, your body is more prone to disease, infection, fatigue, and low performance. Children who don't get enough healthy foods may face growth and developmental problems, poor academic performance, and frequent infections.

Along with enforcing accountability by referencing clients' goals I keep the workouts interesting and engaging. When the novelty of that initial motivation fades away, it may be because the routine has become exactly that, a routine. It is important to keep clients going beyond each session.

It all starts in the mind. If you constantly talk negative about your body forget ever having the body you wish to have. First and foremost, my clients work on mental exercises before any physical activity. Next, we focus on the process rather than the end result. Don’t obsess over you dream body, instead focus on your health and what you love about yourself in the moment. When working towards your dream body focus your attention on all the wonderful things you will gain in the process such as energy, confidence, feeling healthy from within, and reducing the risk of disease. The benefits are limitless.

What I love most about my job is seeing that ah-ha moment from a client. This can be in regards to their health, eating habits, workouts, etc. Seeing that moment and watching something in them click that will change their lives for the better, forever, is worth every minute of what I do. The next best thing about my job is when a client tells you they are seeing and feeling the difference. You can tell anyone whatever you want, but until they see and feel it for themselves, it's not always real.

Owning my own business allows me to have career independence. Having the choice to take on any client — or not — at any time of day, for your determined value, is the best independence I've ever experienced. I am able to create and deliver a plan for my clients that meets their specific needs and getting clients to their goals on a more intimate personalized level without corporate protocol allows for more freedom to have a wider set of goals met.

I believe what sets me apart from other trainers is the type of approach I have toward connecting the mental spiritual and physical aspects of health in order to get the best results. Some clients have issues with weight gain due to overeating which is sometimes associated to something that is going on in their lives i.e. depression. I first assess a clients' emotional wellbeing and will use this information to develop a plan to help reach clients' goals.

Yes, I am open to providing services online via Zoom and/or FaceTime. Initial meetings are in-person where we would determine whether online training/meetings are optional. This is determined on an individual basis based on needs and services rendered.

When meeting in person, 6 feet distancing will be implemented. Sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer will be provided on site for disinfecting equipment used during workouts and meetings. Masks will be worn if the client prefers but is not required. If either party is experiencing signs and symptoms of Covid-19 we can meet via phone or video when possible.
