What’s in a name?
Our company is named after the street of our favorite apartment in Chicago. It was more than just a place to live, it was a home in all of its multifaceted definitions. We were proud of the place, were able to work, create, and entertain there comfortably, and we didn’t have to break the bank to make rent.

What do you love most about your job?
Connecting with new people and the variety of problems I get to solve. There's nothing as fun as showing someone another way to think about or approach a perceived problem.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to make my own connections and be able to work with more clients who were interested in pursuing high quality buildings for themselves and their clients.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our background in green building practices, real estate investing and development, and construction give us a unique perspective on the design side of the profession. We're also a small firm that only works on one or two projects at a time so that we can keep or focus where its needed and do everything in our power to end up with a great project in the end.

Yes, I have been providing remote work options for clients for a number of years and its only gotten easier with the number of options available for video meetings and cloud file sharing.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our approach has been to insist on mask usage as well as social distancing, and to encourage as much of the interactions to happen outdoors or virtually when possible. All of our staff is fully vaccinated.
