I have never had an Arepa til today! My husband had the Casey and I had the King! The meat was perfectly seasoned in both. I loved the sweet and salty of the king each bite was a party in my mouth. I lived in Venezuela as a child and miss eating arepas, tequenos and the like. I tried Arepa Soundtracks' The King arepa and it tasted just as I remembered arepas tasting—delicious! They even got the perfect crisp/chewiness to the outer shell, the combination of meat, beans and melted cheese, and the most perfectly cooked plantains I've had since childhood. Even better, arepas aren't made with flour so they were gluten-free, which I need. I highly recommend Arepa Soundtracks and plan on seeking their truck out again. They are terrific. More...

My husband is a Chef at the Reds Spring training facility and loved the food so much he asked me to leave a review for this food truck. At first I told him create your own account to post your own reviews and then he started telling me exactly what to write. I liked what he was saying so I figured I'd do him the favor. He said he had The King and it was the best flavor and meat in an arapa he's ever had. I don't doubt his word when it comes to good food. They post where they'll be throughout the valley on-line. The Casey Jones and the Pork and Cheese are fire! They were super fast and the food hit the spot. They didn't go stingy on meat and cheese. Although the cheese could've been a bit more melted, I guess that's the price you pay for super quick turn around. These arepas are amazing!! The texture of the bread is out of this world - crisp on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. I got the King, an empanada, and a side of plantains. The King was huge and loaded with beans and cheese... amazing! But I liked the empanada even more! The sizes are generous. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We discuss personally one-on-one with our clients and make their dreams come true! We give him or her complete assurance that the catering part of their day will be a hit and that he or she will not have to worry one second about that portion of their special day! We essentially have been deemed the folks that make the person who hired us the event's "hero."
What do you love most about your job?
Making people happy is the most rewarding part of why I love my job!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My wife was my inspiration for starting our business. She is from Venezuela and while we were dating she cooked Arepas for me one night. I had never heard about Arepas before even though I have been many places around our great planet. My family owned a Mexican restaurant and I began cooking there when I was 12 and then cooked all through my college years until I graduated. I went to Business School and then got a corporate job for years until I met my wife. Always wanting to offer something new in terms of cuisine to America I finally found the product thanks to her! I love you Martha! Viva la Arepa!
