Ardella Portrait Art

I know Kevin the owner for YEARS. He is a stand up guy and has an amazing eye for art. I cant wait to get to Tampa and have a portrait done by him.

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting Ardella Studio while on vacation visiting family. We decided to have family portraits taken as an Xmas gift. The studio itself is beautifully done with a true feeling of home and welcoming. They have a playroom for the kids to entertain themselves with some tasty coffee and snacks. What affected me the most was the compassion Kevin and Danielle had when asking me to smile with my eyes. I explained the loss we had in our family and taking a family picture, with a member missing, was heartbreaking.He said, "well then let me shoot that".While I am my own worse critic when it comes to looking at my own pictures, the image he caught of my pain, tears, and loss made me cry not only for the loss, but he captured how someone else could see what I was feeling. It was then I was proud of my wrinkles, scars, bags, and grey hair. He caught the true me.Anyone can take a picture, but not everyone can capture the soul's pain or what someone is truly feeling inside. We had the absolute best experience at Ardella Portrait Art Studio in Tampa. Kevin and Danielle are fabulous people, photographers and artists! They were so patient with our kids and delivered exceptional service. Not only did we have a full studio shoot, we got a preview of the photos and assistance in picking the right canvases to make this memory last forever. We had such a great experience! My husband is never one to enjoy getting family images done and he was so pleased with the process from start to finish. Walking into the studio you're in awe with every detail they put into it. After the picture session was completed, Kevin prepared the slideshow while Danielle made us cappuccino's! Such a nice touch while we wait. They have a family room full of toys, snacks and beverages for the kiddos too. Out of all the family shoots we've been on, this was hands down the best situation to keep our kids entertained. The presentation at the end and being able to see the images was such a great touch. We got to choose right there which images we wanted printed into artwork and see in real life what the sizes would look like on our walls at home.
