What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There are many aspects to photography but in my opinion a great photograph has to have the following three. Great lighting, composition, & subject. If you do not have all three, the photograph will be lacking.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Normally I would try to figure out what the main goal or objective is for the client. IE, if a client needs product photography done for social media, I would need to fully understand who their target market is, why that target market would purchase their products over the competition, I would then deep dive into seeing what others are doing in the same space, and of course figure out what the client's budget & timeline is. Getting as much information as possible before the production date is key when working with clients in this field.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that we get all sorts of different clients, sometimes it's product photography, other times it's working with a cruise line to create commercial content, and then it could be a concert video and photo recap working with my favorite artist. We always have to be on our toes and ready for any sort of production coming our way!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
We can provide production services for products remotely if the client sends us the products to our studio. We can also do post-production video editing services online, as well as photo editing, and photography lessons/advice. But for most production services, we would have to be in person to create the content.
