I've been a member of a lot of gyms and athletic clubs since I've moved around a lot, but AF OF is by far my favorite. My bf and I have odd schedules and finding a gym that met our needs was a challenge. Luckily, AF OF could accommodate. The gym is always clean, there's no shortage of equipment and the equipment is high quality and there is a generous variety for whatever type of workout you're doing. I love the studio for even more privacy, although the gym is never over crowded so even working out in the main area is great. And the staff. I cant even come up with adequate words, to be honest, but I'll try. In all the gyms I've ever been a part of, no one ever knew my name. I never had a conversation with any of the staff. That is not the case at AF OF, Coach Beth not only helped us get our membership set up, she greeted us by name when we would come in, she would chat with me about my progress and my life and work, she'd text me when she noticed I hadn't been in for a few days and make sure everything was ok and give me a pep talk if it was just that I was being admittedly lazy. Derek, the owner, is amazing. I called him because of an issue with my key fob, and we ended up having a long conversation about the gym, the equipment I loved and the equipment I'd love to see there. He has kept in contact since then, as has Beth, and I am proud to call them both friends now. We are moving out of state in a few weeks, and I'm honestly kind of sad to leave AF OF as my home gym. However, Derek has been instrumental in facilitating our introduction at our new AF to ensure a smooth transition and I know that because of his sincere appreciation and care for his members that we will have a good experience when we move. If you are looking for a small, clean, and well equipped gym, this gym is for you. I have never had to wait for a piece of equipment. The hydro massage is excellent for after your workout. There is also a tanning bed. The kettlebell classes cost extra, but you get your money's worth. The class sizes are small. The instructors are Brad, Emily, and Kendrick. They are all excellent. They watch you closely to make sure that you are using correct form. Also, you can work at your own pace and take an extra break when you need it. They change up the exercises to avoid boredom. It can be as challenging as you want it. I highly recommend this Anytime Fitness without hesitation or reservation. More...

I usually workout out at AF Woodstock. Thought I’d change it up. Love how spacious this location is, towels, beverage machine, woman only bathroom . Couple downsides: no sun shades on the windows by the treadmills. Can’t imagine being on one on super sunny day. Also, some of the machines are facing oddly.
