Animal Au Paws, Inc.

We have counted on Animal Au Paws' service for a few years. Their outstanding service is why we have stayed with them. We have two golden doodles that need care while we are away. Not only do our dogs always get the care just as we've requested, they quite often receive more/better care. Also, it is great to see the little notes that are left after each visit. Our dogs *love* Rose, their usual pet sitter. As well, we have found that we can count on them in a pinch. Recently, we were delayed in getting home when we planned due to traffic. We easily reached Rose on her cell phone. She was on her way out of town but turned around to take care of our dogs for one more visit. The best!!! More...

We have had all wonderful experiences over the years and our recent experience is no different! Recently our regular sitter Sherry was unavailable and a new sitter Jess filled in for us. I hadn't had an opportunity to meet her (my husband did) before our trip. She sent videos and pictures along with her updates while we were away and today she was in the neighborhood pet sitting for another family and saw me outside and stopped to say hi �. Animal Au Paws and especially Rose are amazing!!!!! I had MAJOR surgery last fall that requested Rose come 3 times a day and completely care for my dogs while I was laid up. Having someone come into my home daily to care for my cats when I am out of town, someone I can trust (my petsitter is the BEST and the cats LOVE her! ), has changed my life for the better! We moved from Florida in February and of course the weather was awful making the transition harder for our furry kids to adjust. Leaving behind their pet sitter was emotional as Beth took such good care of them. We found Au Paws through a network our sitter referred and so far all is good. It's not easy taking two dogs out when you live in a tri-level home and neither will climb the stairs. Rose has been awesome. Animal Au Paws truly cares about your pets, not just your money. We were recently trapped out of town due to the large snowstorm, and the owners actually took one of our dogs into their own home for 2 days until we could get back from California. We were very stressed out about not being able to get home, but knowing that our dog was in a loving home and being taken care of gave us tremendous peace of mind. Thank you, Rosie and Paul!!! We've used Animal Au Paws probably 7 times over the last few years. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats and some fish.  Our trips have been anywhere from an overnight trip to 10 days.  All the pets have always been well cared for and happy upon our return.The pet sitters leave detailed notes and bring treats. They also bring in the mail when we're away for a longer trip which is so nice. I really have no complaints and was so surprised to read the one other negative review that I had to offer another perspective. Even my husband likes them and he is hard to please! More...

our first experience with Animal Au Paws could not have been better! we have taken our dog to a kennel in the past but we now have 2 kittens and we thought they would all be happier at home together. We met with our assigned sitter and introduced the pets, the house, the routines and felt all was going to be in good hands. While we were away, the sitter communicated with us for updates and it was nice to hear normal activities and that all was well. When we returned, everyone seemed comfortable and happy. We have been loving the service from Animal Au Paws for 4 years. Our dog was a rescue and had major issues with strangers so we were nervous about getting a dog walker. Everyone Animal Au Paws has sent to take care of our dog over the years has been so great that our dog immediately took to them and we never had a problem. His behavior with strangers and in general has improved in part to the interactions he has had with the dog walkers over the years. We had Animal Au Paws watch our dog and house for 2 weeks while we were out of town. They were supposed to walk our dog 3 times a day, bring in the mail and water the plants. On our initial set up meeting we had told our sitter Janet that our dog gets freaked out by thunderstorms. While were out of town our area got hit with some pretty bad storms and Janet came over more than the 3 times a day just to make sure our dog was ok. We were very grateful to her for doing that and our dog Madison was a very happy dog when we got home. I will definitely be using Animal Au Paws again. More...

Animal Au Paws has been taking care of my little Yorkie since the day I brought her home 4 years ago.  I've been very happy with all of her caretakers.  Teri comes twice a day and takes the best care of my dog.  She's very loving and caring.  She also alerts me when there are any issues with my house, etc.  When Teri's not available they always provide a reliable substitute.  I would highly recommend Animal Au Paws for daily pet sitting services. I have used AAP on several occasions.  All for daytime visits with our two dogs and have not been disappointed.  While away we have a dog sitter who stays overnight but our pups are used to people being home most of the time.  That's where AAP came in.  We have had two different ladies come to our house and both were very thorough with notes that have been left for me.  Needless to say, I will be using them again soon.  :) More...

My family and I are first time pet owners but when we met Oscar, our schnauzer, he stole our hearts right away. We knew we wanted to give him the best. So we began the process of interviewing midday dog walkers. It was IMPOSSIBLE for us to think of him all alone all day while our every day lives continued (work, school, kids, etc) so we knew right away we had to hire someone special that would love him the way we loved him. We met with 5 different local companies (yes FIVE) to find the right person for our Oscar. While all companies sent wonderful sitters, we just had a gut feeling with Animal Au Paws. I can't say enough great things about Animal Au Paws.  The Owner and Manager have been sooo accomadating!  The amazing doggie care taker of my pups is the deal closer!  Abbie is so amazing and has worked sooo well with my pups!My pups know when I'm gone for the day and give me the"look"....and I say "Miss Abbie is coming today" they get SOOO darn excited!  I couldn't be happier!  Thank you Animal Au Paws! I have been using Animal Au Paws for several years now, and they are by far the best pet service I have ever used. The initial intake meeting and questionnaire is extremely thorough. The care they provide my dog (and my home while on vacation) is meticulous. The daily notes and communication is always detailed so I never worry about the care of my pet. In one instance the sitter was concerned about the health of my dog while I was on vacation. They contacted me immediately and came back to my house a couple hours later just to make sure he was doing all right. In another instance I forgot to mention to the sitter that our dog had injured his foot, and he had slight limp. On the very first appointment, the sitter contacted me immediately to make sure I was aware of the issue. My dog has always been give special attention, not to mention special treats, while in the care of AAP. In all interactions, AAP has been completely reliable, ethical, and professional.
