I’ve been working with Marie as my trainer for several months. I was a little worried when I started because I’m older and not exactly a fitness freak. But Marie is great to work with because she assesses your level of fitness and then works with you from there. We started with Marie coming to my house but now we meet via Skype which really helps with flexibility since I have to travel sometimes. How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
A good diet combined with exercise is necessary to maintain a healthy body. The diet is important because it provided needed nutrients to maintain an active lifestyle. Don't let the word "diet" fool you! It's a lifestyle change learning what is and is not proper when it comes to food consumption! Fat cells DO NOT disappear, they only shrink, and your diet is important for keeping those fat cells as small as possible when combined with exercise.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
Being a true team is very important to me! For every exercise program, I workout with my clients from start to finish. If an exercise is to difficult, I provide alternative exercise modifications; all while assuring my clients progress will be made as their body adapts. If the exercise seems to be performed easily, I will show them a more challenging version. I make sure to provide ongoing guidance, programs, and support to keep them heading in the right direction to the fastest results.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Marie - I have my own medical issues that took control of my life. After doing lots if research on exercise and nutrition, I began working out and eating right, which saved my life. I decided then that I was meant to help people, using exercise and lifestyle changes, with all types of needs .
