American Bark Park

My husband and I are both nurses and have to utilize doggy daycare for our little dog Lottie during our long shifts. We have also used Dogtown daycare service in Clifton located by the hospitals. Let me tell you the differences and why I LOVE American Bark Park: First and foremost, Lottie starts squealing with excitement when we turn onto Dimmick. When we pull in she is standing up and crying to get out of the car. When we get inside she literally jumps across the counter to whoever is there. She loves these people! American Bark Park knows Lottie by name. At Dogtown they ask for the "small black Boston terrier mix" and once even brought out the wrong dog!  When Lottie leaves American Bark Park she smells either normal or even better than when she left. Their packages are great and they have great customer service. The staff though is who really earned the 5 star rating. They truly enjoy playing with the dogs and seem to like their jobs. They are night and day when comparing to the staff at Dogtown who I watched scroll through their phone constantly and not paying attention to the dogs. Update 8/24/18:We have used American Bark park exclusively since May and could not be happier. We go 1-3 times per week depending on the week. I got a tour of the boarding room a couple weeks back and I was very impressed. Large individual spaces for the dogs and the area was SO clean. I viewed the spaces at the end of the day which was the time they usually clean so I got to witness the attention to detail they put into cleaning. Today, I was booking her first boarding stay and I look over and see Lottie cuddled up with an employee. These people are just wonderful and really care about the dogs they take care of. I asked if they would be able to send me photos of Lottie while we were away and they said they do this all the time for customers. Great boarding and daycare option for dogs.  I use the boarding services--have taken my dog there at least 5 times when I'm traveling for business or vacation in the 10 months or so they have been open. They pay close attention to get the dogs enough activity and playtime to ensure that the dogs are happy and enjoy the experience.  There are always creative contests going on for dog of the week and incorporating the baseball theme.
