We did the "Day in the life" session and I was so nervous about how it would feel to have our lives captured on camera. Amanda made us feel completely at ease and most of the time we forgot she was even there. I was beyond thrilled at the moments she captured. She turned our everyday little moments into frame worthy images. I want to remember this stage and she made it possible. Engagement Photo Session and Kudos
My fiancé and I had an awesome experience at our engagement photo session today. Amanda was personable, sweet, and funny and got, of course, some creative shots.
She also helped turn what may have been something awkward for the two of us into something very comfortable and fun, which I never doubted judging by how she was via e-mail and phone. She was very good and prompt with any questions or suggestions we had, among other good things.
We are excited to see how our pictures turn out! Judging by the other pictures of various kinds we have viewed, they will be great! We are using her work for our wedding and are excited to see what she does with all the interesting things we have planned for that. We definitely recommend her and would gladly have her take pictures for us again. We’re also all for supporting local artists and the like, so three cheers for Amanda, because, as my fiancé might say, she’s awesome sauce!

I am a documentary photographer myself, so I was really looking for someone who could get pictures of our family just exactly as we are - a little crazy, and really happy overall, but not without our moments. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Beautiful light, interesting composition and capturing true emotion and connection as it happens.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always ask my clients to describe themselves asa couple or family in 3 words. It helps me really get to know them and find out quickly what is important to them.
What do you love most about your job?
Making the ordinary extraordinary, meeting new people and capturing their unique personalities, using my creativity to make photos that mean something.
Why should our clients choose you?
If they want someone who will creatively tell their story through images, who will find bits of magic in their everyday, and who will capture who they really are, they should book me. If they want to just a pretty picture with a pretty background, another photographer’s style may be more appropriate. My specialty is turning your moments into memories!
