Words such: budget, only few for few hours, small house party, karaoke, not knowing your budget or "would like to discuss with the dj" or date as far as 1 year from now, or not knowing what kind of music you want (discuss with the pro). I consider my price very affordable! But I do use top of the line equipment and performance, so I do required a contract and copy of ID along with it. Since my equipment is just a fraction times 50 of what I charge! So a safe work environment is required! Plus a deposit. If you are not able to comply, it shows that you are not serious about this event. save both of us some time.
