Words can’t even describe how thrilled I am with my wedding pictures. Jon and Patti at Allan E. Levine did an amazing job capturing all the special moments from my wedding. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the results. As much as we wanted to soak in every moment, our wedding day went by so quickly since we were having a blast. I really needed these photographs to remind me of all the amazing moments of the day. We literally spent hours going through each picture and reminiscing on everything that took place. My husband and I both had family and friends visiting from afar, and it pleases us highly that practically everyone at the wedding is captured in our pictures. Jon and Patti are so friendly and easy to work with and made everyone feel comfortable. Much to my surprise, I received a sneak peek and my official pictures only a few weeks after the wedding. I didn’t have to wait as long, which is great since our wedding was so recent. My family and friends are anxiously waiting to see our pictures as well. My husband and I found Vicki and Allan Levine online while researching top rated photographers in the Poughkeepsie, NY area. We instantly fell in love with their portfolios and really got a sense of their clients’ stories and personalities with the way they were captured. They were all visually stimulating and emotionally captivating. Since we are artists ourselves, it was important that we find others that approached their work with passion and true artistry. We knew they were the ones for us immediately. They were actually our first vendor that we booked and we could not be more pleased with our decision. From beginning to end these artists have a level of professionalism that is one to be rivaled. We instantly connected and had a great first impression during our initial meeting. Both had engaging personalities and they articulated all varieties of packages that they offered in depth. They were very organized and prepared several documents and portfolios for us to view. They even gave us a list of other vendors they recommend (after we inquired) and discussed the high level of camaraderie between many of the professionals in the area. This truly got us excited amidst the daunting task of finding all our vendors in an unfamiliar area to us. This gesture and open consistent communication with Vicki greatly helped us navigate through the planning process.It was very easy to make payments on an online portal and had friendly reminders through email when invoices were due. A detailed questionnaire was offered on their online portal where you could complete it at your leisure and submit back to them with ease. Everything was so well planned out and they had a strong structure of how to make everything go as smoothly as possible.Vicki was an absolute pleasure to work with and really helped collaborate a timeline and “plan Bs” such as alternative first look locations if weather had not held off that day. She was easy to get a hold of and very responsive to both emails and phone calls. You can tell she not only cares about her level of professionalism and business but also her clients. She was so genuine in every way. Both really listened to our desires and they catered to our every need before and during the wedding day. The day of our wedding is where they truly exceeded our ever-growing expectations. Allan is a joy to have at your event—he has high energy, a charming personality, and very engaging when working with you and your group of beloved friends and family. You can feel his level of commitment to his clients and work from his genuine interactions. He treats you with the respect and care you deserve while keeping things light and fun. Vicki was very communicative with all our vendors and venue regarding our timeline and coordinated very well with our videographers. They all truly worked as one, a perfect unit, to capture our remarkable day. Vicki also has a remarkable eye for detail and takes the extra time to make sure her and her husband have the most perfect shots. Whether it’s a flip of the veil or straightening of the dress, you just know that the pictures are going to be perfect and their level of commitment to their craft and clients is above and beyond. We had received notification of our sneak preview gallery being posted online after only 5 days after our wedding! It is outstanding that they produced it so quickly, especially during their busy season! We looked through all the photos and my husband and I got emotional because it truly pulled us back to those unforgettable moments. The picture quality and portrayal of our beautiful day demonstrated their mastery of their craft. I cannot say enough positive remarks about the Levines! They have remarkable work ethic, exceptional service, are highly professional, extraordinary individuals and true artists who genuinely care about their clients. Our photographer was one of the most important decisions that we had to make in planning our wedding. Each moment only happens once, so we wanted to make sure that it was all captured. We planned our wedding from out of town, and Skyped with Allan and Vicki before making our decision. Immediately, we both felt comfortable, and knew that we wanted them to capture our big day! We had an engagement session with them the week leading up to the wedding...they took their time and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. On our wedding day, they both came to the brides house and they hired another photographer to take pictures on the groom. They watched the day unfold, capturing every detail, without getting in the way or making us re-create moments. They took extra time with us following the reception to capture sunset pictures that we had wanted, and didn't make us feel rushed, despite their day technically being "over". It is apparent that they genuinely love what they do, and it comes across in all of your interactions with them, as well as the beautiful final product! One of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding was choosing Allan and Vicki to shoot our wedding. They are a dynamic duo, and a great team who really know what they are doing.
Included in our package was an engagement shoot which was a great opportunity to practice posing, different faces/angles, and the infamous dip! I'm so glad we were able to do that because it allowed my husband and I some time to practice and get used to taking pictures before our wedding day.
I emailed back and forth with Vicki quite a bit and she was always responsive, professional and honest. We had planned to do an 'out of the box' save the date with some of our engagement pictures, and Vicki created the layout for us and hooked us up with a printer she recommended who then made our idea a reality. She went out of her way and above and beyond to help with this. Before our wedding she went over all the details with us and we discussed exactly what pictures I did and didn't want. My husband and I both really wanted to make it to our cocktail hour and with Vicki's organization we got everything done with time to spare. We had a large bridal party and her and Allan kept everything moving smoothly and swiftly. They really know how to work a room! They also sent an additional photographer to take some photos of the groom and groomsmen getting ready- with no added charge. Within 3 days of our wedding while on our honeymoon we got an email with a "preview" of about 50 photos. They were amazing and I knew the rest would be just as great. When we got our final photos (close to 2000) we were so happy. They came out so great and offered color and black&white for each picture! Allan and Vicki captured our wedding day perfectly. We recently went up to their studio to pick out our album and ended up looking at photos and talking like old friends. They really are the best and I highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding.

We cannot truly express how lucky we feel to have had Allan and Vicki as our photographers. They were an essential part of our perfect wedding day.
Starting with our engagement shoot a month earlier, and all the way through our spectacular night-time wedding photos, Allan and Vicki always made us feel so comfortable and super-inspired to embrace the moment for every shot. Their beautiful location ideas and camera angles resulted in photos that captured our love for each other perfectly. We will cherish these pictures forever! It is not hard to see how much passion Vicki and Allan have for their craft, and just how deeply they care about making the end results as great as they can be. Besides being lovely and incredibly talented people, what we will remember most fondly is how hard they worked and how much they genuinely cared about maximizing moments and conditions to give us high quality shots. There are two kind of photographers. Those who take pictures, and those who create memories. Allan's falls into the latter group.
His artistic ability, coupled with his keen eye and understanding of people allow him to capture amazing moments.
Consider that, coupled with a very down to earth, sometimes a little nutty, but such a genuine personality, and you really do get the whole package when you work with him.
I have known Allan for several years, keeping him up on the latest technology behind the scenes to help enhance his business. The one thing I have always noted, though, is no matter how much technology available for photographers, you can't 'fake' a good photo. Neither can it make someone a good photographer.
Allan is an amazing photographer. That is before everything else he offers to his clients. It really can't be summed up in an advertisement. It's not something you can always quantify. You just have to meet him and you'll understand he is a wealth of knowledge. He keeps up with all the latest trends, gadgets and technology, but when it comes down to it, he is just an amazing photographer. He understands how to take a photo. How to be in the right place at the right time getting the right moment preserved for a lifetime.
I have had the chance to sit with him and see not only his work, but the process and painstaking time he puts into every photo for every client. He has created some amazing memories for people, and you would do yourself an injustice if you didn't sit down and see what he could do for you. Whether it be a wedding, special event, promos, head shots, or specialty photos. It will be worth every penny.

Allan and Vicky are Awesome! Vicky came to the house and my wife and I had ideas of where we'd like to have some pictures taken of our baby girl. She quickly and efficiently went through the house explaining where would be the best place actually and took some Amazing pictures that we'll cherish our whole lives.
