What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There's quite a few of them, but here's one. The person being photographed needs to be comfortable. They need to be comfortable with their photographer, comfortable in their immediate surrounding, and dressed for comfort and confidence.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How do you dream of being photographed? What do you want to say to your audience? What do you want them to see when they look at your headshots/photos?
What do you love most about your job?
The way people light up, when they see their portraits. It's almost like they finally begin to see themselves for who they are, or who they could be.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to push myself to be more, to be better, and to master my craft. It's one thing to take photos as a hobby.
But it is a whole other thing to ask people to give you their time, money and invite you into their space, with a promise to deliver exactly what they have hired you for.
