I hired Aaron based on a conversation and a prayer and it worked out great. He brought a lot of energy and great ideas to the project. He demonstrated proficiency with lighting, audio and definitely as a DP. I worked for several years as a network news producer back in the day and worked with a lot of great videographers. I'm a still photographer/ budding videographer from out of town and Aaron came to my rescue providing the equipment I needed on no notice whatsoever. He took lots of time to talk me through problem-solving, suggesting various set-ups and detailing the pros and cons of each, then met me at his studio after-hours to deliver the equipment I needed.
