Sylvia and her crew were perfect! When I asked my soon to be three year old what kind of a birthday party she wanted her response was 'A puppet Party'. I was having a hard time finding a puppeteer who would make house calls when Sylvia's listing popped up. I was initially concerned that Sylvia was a clown who offered many additional services (besides puppetry), which made me a little wary. Ultimately however, my family, friends, twentyish toddlers, and I couldn't have been more satisfied, and I'm pretty sure my daughter had the best birthday of her life. Sylvia starts out blowing bubbles with a bubble gun while her crew is setting up facepainting supplies and the puppet stage. Then she does face painting, which is very impressive (we're talking very detailed quality artwork) and she takes the kid's specific requests pretty well. If your kid asks for spiderman they're going to get a nice looking spider man. After face painting she does parachute games, and is really good at getting the majority of toddlers to actually focus and participate. Then the puppet show is really funny, the puppets lip synch to  recorded songs about safety, with the grand finale being, one of the puppets serenades the birthday girl with 'I believe I can fly' by R. Kelly. Sylvia also sings along with the puppets and let me tell you she can really belt out a note or two.  She concludes her performance with balloon animals, and she brings ample balloons to replace popped animals, or so some kids can get multiples. I am really very impressed with her services, every thing she did was pretty exceptional. She was also very good at communication prior to the event and checking in the day of.
