How long have you been in business?
I was introduced to the construction industry in 1975 as a carpenter apprentice while attending college for construction management and engineering at FIU. I progressed from carpenter to foreman, superintendent, project manager to eventually becoming the president of SAC Construction, a leading commercial contracting company in South Florida, with over 40 years of experience.

What inspired you to start your own business?
After SAC Construction, in 1996, I relocated to Carbondale, Colorado where I expanded my business in residential development. Then, in 2002, returned to Florida to re-establish my business presence in the South Florida market, what is known as ABK Construction Group today.
