Can't say enough good things.I lost my older dog about 2 months ago and Ben ( who had never been alone ) was having a really hard time. Some of my work days were long and I wasn't able to bring him with me like I normally do. After calling and talking to many dog walking companies, I reached out to A walk in the Park.( who came highly recommend by Kentlands Vet-love them too!)They were amazing! She answered my email right away! And made an interview appt to come and meet Ben with one of their amazing walkers. Ben is shy and nervous.  He needs to be introduced to people walking into the house. I was nervous about the meet and greet, and that reflected in Ben as well.Although I was positive as long as the walker was confident, Ben would be fine. About 2 months later and Ben is SO excited to see  her walk through the door!He gets this about once a week, just to keep him comfortable with them. And this is also helping his through his grieving process from losing his best friend.  I felt 100% comfortable after meeting them about giving them access to my house and them being there when I'm not. Also they give emailed report cards (with pictures-which I love!) Saying how his day went. There is nothing better than the peace of mind knowing he was been walked with someone that loves spending time with him when I am at work all day. Thanks for being amazing guys! After adopting my cat Ulysses earlier this year, I knew there'd be a few times each year when I'd need to be out of town. When I started looking for a pet sitter, I tried a few agencies in the that had decent reviews on Yelp -- one never responded to me and one responded with a curt message saying they were booked full . Not exactly good customer service on either account.I decided to try A Walk in the Park since they were right in my neighborhood, and I've been very pleased with my decision! The woman who did the in-person consultation was pleasant and professional, and asked all of the important questions about the care I wanted for Ulysses -- even down to asking how many treats to put out and where extra food (beyond what the plenty in his auto-feeder) could be found if needed.I have used them twice now (with another service scheduled for the Christmas holiday) and have been very happy with their service. Each day that they come, they leave a pet sitting report indicating what time of day they came, what services they provided and some cute notes about the visit. On their notes for the last visits' reports they noted how sweet and affectionate my cat was and that they spent their time together giving plenty of head and chin scratches. While some may be wary of letting strangers into their house, I can say that I've never had any problems and I've returned to everything exactly how I've found it. I also think their prices are reasonable and worth it to know that your pet is getting the attention it deserves while you have to be away. More...
