What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The key to a great photograph is the relationship between the artist an the subject. Just telling someone to strike a pose is not good enough. An artist has to devleop intimacy with the subject. The key here is intimacy (in to me see!) If you can accomplish that, possibilities are endless!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Tell me something about yourself? Where do you see youself in 6 months and how does this photoshoot play a role in your vision?
What do you love most about your job?
The conncetion made with people! I consider myself a people person and I honestly believe the camera captures that connection.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The eye! The eye is the most fascinating part of the human body. The eye is the key to everyone’s individual story. The eye is what I have on my future and where I want to be. I never “saw” myself working for a corporate entity. I’m a free spirit, an artist! I thrive when I am free to create with like minded people. Being a business owner is what I always inspired to be. My dream has come to fruition!
Why should our clients choose you?
Why not? I am a firm believer that beauty is found in everyone (not just in the eye of the beholder.) That beauty shines brightest when a person feels relaxed and in tuned with themselves in a safe space. My job as a photographer is to create that type of environment to get the results the cleint wants and I expect, while being confident in my ability to bring out the very best in even the most shy client. I love what I do!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
No! Photography involves an in-person relationship between the subject and the artist. That conection has to be real, not one that can be accomplished via Zoom, Skype of other means of electronic interference.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are fully vaccinated plus boostered. We use N95 mask that are NIOSH cdertified made by 3M. We practice saocial distancing whenever possible.
