I needed a photographer for a corporate event one of our divisions in Milwaukee was hosting, and found Heather's work searching online. I have some experience in art/design, so I have an idea of what I'm looking for. One of the things I noticed about her photography is that she seemed to do a very good job at telling the 'story' of the event with pictures. The images did not seem random... there was composition and intention in her approach. There a difference in taking a picture and composing a shot-- especially if one hopes to communicate some sort of narrative or tell a story. What I didn't know when I hired Heather is how pleasant she is to work with... not only for me, but for the team I hired her to support. She was careful, attentive, patient, and understood what my goals/outcomes were to deliver well past my expectations. On top, she turned the job around in absolutely no time! I had my images right after I got settled back in from my flight home. I would highly, highly recommend you hire Heather for your event. Making people comfortable! That is a biggie. If you don't feel comfortable, the pictures will show that. That is a gift that I have...I'm a people person. :)

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been taking pictures since I was in grade school. Always had a camera in hand. I took photography in high school and loved it. But, life went a different way and things happen. Professional cameras are not cheap. 8 years ago, I was finally able to afford one. What happened from that was an accidental business...the best career I could have ever asked for. Having a child with special needs makes it difficult to have a "normal" career. With my business, I can be a mom and have a full time job as well. Having the ability to make my own hours is amazing and I love going to different places and environments to find new things and meet new people.
Why should our clients choose you?
This is my full time job. My galleries are professional and try my best to get pictures out in a very timely manner. I work with my clients and try and be as affordable as I can, as I am a very family oriented person.
