As a social worker and therapist myself, I will be the first to admit that I was too prideful to actually seek help for me. After an interpersonal crisis came to a head, I realized I had to find therapeutic help as soon as possible, and whether it was kismet or just this gentleman’s attentiveness, he was able to contact and schedule me that day. I have been working with him for about a year, and I am much healthier and happier for it; my regret is not going to see someone sooner, but I am so grateful I found him. Kent is a wonderful counselor! I saw him for almost two years. When I first met with him I was severely depressed and in an abusive relationship. Kent helped me realize my self worth and gain my life back. He is very encouraging and great to talk to. He’s not judgmental of any situation and truly wants to help. If I could give Kent a rating higher than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I have been seeing him for a few months now and the quality of our marriage has skyrocketed. I was dealing with the pain of infidelity and had no hope. It was unbearable but I didn't want divorce. My husband and I both wanted reconciliation and healing and decided to seek help. We found better council in Kent Brand than I even knew existed. At the time of our first appointment, I had rated my marriage a 2 out of 10...and I can honestly say at this point, we're a solid 10. After suffering with decades of depression and no self esteem, I am so thankful to have a whole new life perspective. While there are several factors that have played a role in this transformation I must give Kent Brand a lot of credit. With his guidance and objectives designed to face my darkest demons, I was able to equip myself with tools to prevent relapsing into weeks of depression. Having tried medications in the past without success due to side effects I was pleased that I was able to free myself from the obstacles that were holding me back from happiness with therapy. When I first started coming to Kent I was at my complete lowest. I knew that if I didn’t get help , that I wouldn’t be here another year. I have never been so grateful for one person in my life. Going to Kent was the best decision I could have ever made. I have been going to him for exactly two years and six months, and the change in me is outstanding. I use to dread the day before it started. I was 21 and I wouldn’t charge my phone, go out with friends, go to work or anything. I would lay in bed for days and just cry. He has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. He never judged. He always gave me tool to help with day to day life. He praised me when I did great things and helped me when I would trail off. I would recommend this man to anyone that has any problem what so ever. The level of understanding and care that he has is out of this world. So please if you’re having any problems whether it be marital, addiction or mental health, please go talk to him and I promise it will get better! I was divorced in Arizona, and as soon as the divorce papers were finalized my ex wife ran to Dallas, TX where she kept me away from my child for 4 1/2 years. My ex never provided me details of where she lived with my daughter. The only way I could track my daughter was through her grandmother's house in Dallas. It was a nightmare, my visits with my daughter were never consistent, I begged for Skype sessions, phone conversations, visits, etc. I tried to exercise my visit rights as a father, but couldn't because my child lived in Dallas. I didn't know what to do. Since I live in AZ it was hard to find a good reliable lawyer in Dallas. Fortunately for me I came across one of the most amazing attorneys I could have asked for. Ms. Lee is consistent, reliable, quick, and personal. She definitely delivered results. Ms. Lee and I were able to take our case to court and exercise my visitation rights with my daughter. She aIso helped me acquire Skype sessions with her four times a week. With my newly established custody rights I am able to see my daughter twice a month, every other holiday/birthday and entire summer vacations. I would recommend Ms. Lee to anyone, as she went far and beyond to bring my daughter and I closer together, which means we now have an amazing father-daughter relationship. More...
