TRADITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY:
Sometimes, traditional photography can be nerve-wrecking for guests. The formal set-up, curious on-lookers, and 100% attention from a singular photographer can send some timid people looking for a way out! Not everyone likes the pressure of a traditional studio, and knowing how expensive photographers can be, guests may feel guilty for "ruining" a photo by blinking, not wearing the right clothes, not looking natural enough, or otherwise not giving the photographer what they want from the shoot.

Our photo booth aims to solve these issues: it's a way to get portraits, but also a way for guests to have fun! It's interactive and encourages your guests to take control & get creative!

OUR BOOTH:
Instead of a singular photographer, there is a touch-screen kiosk with unlimited shots & the ability to retake photos as much as they want. Our kiosk shows guests what they look like while they are taking the photo (like a mirror) and they have the power to delete shots and retake them right on the spot. They can also shoot boomerangs and videos, which can take some practice. Not to worry, do-overs are definitely encouraged! The booth is typically not the singular activity of an event, so the pressure of having attention from onlookers is minimized. Photos are taken while other guests eat dinner, dance, or partake in cocktail hour which creates a fun, casual feel. And there's no rush! Instead of suddenly having to be ready for a photographer, guests can choose when they come to take photos. They come when they're ready. We love seeing guests become freer and more creative with their photos as the event goes on. Unlike formal photoshoots, we manifest excellent memories & REAL smiles. Not staged ones! Plus, social media sharing allows guests to share their photos & Boomerangs instantly. And with our print-out option, guests can take a photo home as a souvenir! Or, you can go home with a signed photo album of all your guests. You can't do that with a traditional photographer.

We collaborate with local San Antonio photographers to create a casual photo studio that operates like a booth. It's a staged space where guests can come at will, take unlimited photos, and use fun props. But instead of having a touch-screen kiosk, a photographer takes high-quality photos and edits them afterward with professional software. This is a great option if you plan on making enlarged prints or desire studio-quality portraits of many guests but don't want to pay the high prices to retain your photographer all day.

IN CONCLUSION:
Our booths create an intimate experience where guests can truly be silly and have fun without having to worry about ruining shots, wasting precious money spent by the host, or having to take photos on a photographer's timeline. Guests are encouraged to simply have a good time!
