If there was one part of my wedding that I was super picky on- it was the music. I have very strong opinions on a lot of music, and was a little nervous that my vision would not become a reality. I had absolutely nothing to worry about with 30 West :) Tim took SUCH good care of us, and made our whole wedding incredibly perfect. He was fun to be around, did a fantastic job at keeping the dance floor full, and kept the reception moving seamlessly. Mike was absolutely fantastic to work with!! We could not have been happier, and can't recommend working with him enough! To me, choosing a DJ was one of the most important decisions since the DJ sets the tone for the whole event, and keeps the party going . After seeing him do my Maid of Honors wedding, I knew I needed him to do mine! Mike was so easy to work with and made the whole process personal and fun! He was super responsive to any of my questions, and more than accommodating to last minute changes and special requests. The day of the wedding he made sure we stayed as close to the timeline as possible, and when we fell behind a bit, he was right there to suggest how to get back on track. I have had so many people text me/tell me in person how much they LOVED our DJ. I personally have never seen a dance floor so consistently packed with people song after song. The music selections were perfect, and he definitely kept the party going! Everyone had a blast and we enjoyed getting to dance the night away! We could not have been happier with our choice. Working with Kyle from 30 West Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. From our first meeting it was clear that Kyle really understood what we wanted and helped us not only select great songs, but design a flow for our reception that allowed everyone to have an incredible time.

We ended up having 3 meetings with Kyle, and he ended up coming to our rehearsal so that we could make sure he was all set. We were thrilled that he was willing to take so much time to prepare for our event and make the day perfect.

We threw some curve balls at Kyle - some of our family is from Mexico, so we wanted to include some merengue, cumbia, and banda music mixed into a more mainstream dance set. We’ve been to other events where the DJ hasn’t done a good job of transitioning between different genres of music like these. Not Kyle - he knocked it out of the park, and our family and friends were dancing non-stop.

We’re also big karaoke fans, and Kyle was able to work in karaoke for our friends towards the end of the night. It ended up being perfect, and we even got to dance as husband and wife as our friends serenaded us.

We had so much fun working with 30 West Entertainment. Our DJ took the time to meet with us twice, and gave us a complete draft play list to edit before the wedding. The music was so perfectly planned, and we had multiple guests asking for the play list long after the wedding. Our DJ was professional, the sound for the speeches was clear, and he was great reading the room for social ques. Tim Mercandetti was AWESOME! I am one who believes the DJ can really make or break your reception and Tim def made ours. Not only was the music great and kept people dancing, his comments were quick but important and you could tell he didn't try to make himself the star of the night - he knew his goal was to keep people dancing and have a great time. We got married on NYE and Tim and the hotel (Lancaster Marriott which was excellent btw!) worked on making sure we could watch ABC with Ryan Seacrest hosting the ball drop in NYC at midnight and then we got right back into the party. Since the groom was a big WWE fan, Tim went to extra lengths to put together a montage of WWE entrance videos (as requested by the bridge and groom) for the wedding party to come into which was a big hit. Our pre event meeting was great and he worked with our schedule - he was always available if we needed him and he was a great asset to our event. Multiple wedding guests commented to us how great of a job the DJ was doing - not something you always hear. Bravo to Tim and 30 West - we highly recommend them for your event. More...

Matt was the DJ for our wedding on Saturday and I can't thank him enough for providing an enjoyable time for all. He was accommodating to my picky request for walking down the aisle and was sure to play the version of the song that I wanted. He even took the time to coordinate with the venue so they knew the exact moment in the song I wanted my grand entrance to be. My cousin did acoustic guitar for the cocktail hour and Matt went out of his way to be sure my cousin had all the equipment that he needed for the day of. For the reception I knew I could count on Matt to provide entertainment for every one of our guests. He was readily available for anything me or my guests needed/requested. 30 West Entertianment is AMAZING! We worked with Tim for our wedding on April 1, 2016. Our wedding was SO MUCH FUN...and it is all thanks to Tim! We met our DJ, Tim Mercandetti, through a mutual friend a few years ago. When we got engaged we immediately knew we wanted to talk with him about being the DJ for our wedding and what he had to offer. Tim responded immediately to let us know that he was available to DJ that date of our wedding. He was always easy to get in touch with about any questions we had leading up to our big day! He helped us organize the reception ( being announced, cake cutting, speeches, type of music, etc) and was SUPER helpful and patient with us. He did such a fantastic job at our reception, we could not have asked for anything more! He was very knowledgeable, gave great advice, and listened to what our desires were as well. I am not the type of person who writes reviews, but I was compelled to write one for Tim of 30 West Entertainment. I cannot say enough just how much fun he made our daughter's wedding reception. In the words of one of my friends who attended, "I NEVER (yes, capital letters NEVER) dance, but I was having so much fun that I danced all afternoon." We found 30 West Entertainment on our recommended vendor list provided by our venue. They were the fastest and friendliest to respond (and quite reasonably priced too), so we scheduled a meeting right away. Our wedding DJ was Tim Mercandetti, one of the owners of 30 West Entertainment. I cannot say enough good things about Tim! He was the person we met with during each of the planning meetings (we had 2), so it was great to get to know him personally before the big day.

So, let me admit that I was the most disorganized mess about our music and waited until the last minute (like, 4 days before our wedding!) to provide him with choices for our first dance, father/daughter & mother/son dances, etc. I have no idea how, but Tim turned my mess into a wedding music masterpiece! His choices were creative and truly SPOT ON, given only about 30 of our favorite songs/bands as suggestions. I can't even count the number of people who came up to me and told me it was the best music they'd ever heard at a wedding. And then there was the fact that DJ Tim turned our AFTERNOON wedding into an awesome dance party. It was amazing. He had everyone, including my grandmothers, out on the floor dancing thanks to his fun (yet appropriate) personality and his amazing song choices. Epic!

Bottom line, HIRE this guy. He was such a hit with our guests and made us feel at ease even despite giving him very little to work with. We couldn't have asked for better! More...
