Amazing atmosphere, amazing training, amazing attitude. We had a group of swimmers and water polo players train at CFF all summer 3x a week and it was the highlight of their week. They showed up to work and had fun in the process. Incredible difference in attitude and strength over the course of 12 weeks. If you have a kid that loves to play ANY sport, do them a favor and get them in the gym at CFF. Its a game changer (pun absolutely intended). More...

I have been coming to Chicago family Fit for over one year. This has been my only experience with a "real" trainer-- it has been wonderful for me. Recently I have introduced my wife to the "gym" and she loves it too-- we are not athletes by the way. Her back and serious aches and pains have found a much needed relief-- injections, chiropractors and medications were nothing compared to the new "health" she has experienced-- with much of her 20+ years of pain decreased- Kyle, the owner and our personal trainer along with Gabe- has helped tremendously... I also have my teenage son coming 3 times a week and occasionally bring my 9 year old boy who has enjoyed some "fun" workouts while Mom and Dad work out... I would recommend this company because of its professionalism and the ability of Kyle and his crew to make anyone "comfortable" and actually want to come back... recommended for the "normal guy"- but its clear to me that for the very athletic types you absolutely will improve with training at Chicago Family Fit in Park Ridge. First off, let me say, if you are having any doubt about personal training, go see Kyle at Chicago Family Fit. I am getting married at the end of this year and had been working out by taking fitness classes at the community center for about six months. I was losing interest and getting bored with the same classes, the same routines in the same order every week and had stopped seeing any results. That's when I decided it was time to see a personal training. To me, this was a scary thought because I felt out of shape and intimidated about what my perception of a personal trainer was. I didn't want to be judged about being out of shape by some super intense, super fit trainer that made me feel bad about needing help getting in shape. Kyle is the exact opposite of all my preconceived notions and I can honestly say it was one of the best moves that I have ever made for myself. Kyle (and Gabe) work with your fitness level and make things more challenging as you progress. They give the right amount of "push" when all you want to do is sit down and stop and they mix things up at every session. I have never been bored once during a work out and I leave Chicago Family Fit feeling sweaty and really good about the great work out I just had. In just three months, I feel and look better, have more endurance and can see changes happening. I highly recommend Chicago Family Fit to anyone looking to get in shape and this is coming from a girl who used to hate working out and now I look forward to my twice a week sessions. More...

I received a massage here from Mila recently, and after having worked with easily 30 different therapists in the past, I can say it was by far one of my best massage experiences. She was very thorough, focused on the areas I had mentioned specifically bothered me and used the perfect amount of pressure,  while checking in with me periodically.  She also used small bolsters under my shoulders which was very comfortable. Mila's massage gave the perfect balance between relaxation and efficient pain management/therapy. Thank you, Mila! More...

I've been working out with Chicago Family Fit for over a year. Kyle has been exactly what I needed in a personal trainer. I've worked with trainers at gyms in the past and found them too impersonal . I wanted someone who was going to help me get back on track in the particular way that I needed it. Kyle has tailored a plan specific to my needs. Kyle's been flexible, patient, determined, and effective with me. He's given me advice on general fitness, flexibility and movement, exercise, and nutrition. I started out going to see Kyle wanting to lose weight and get back in shape; and instead I feel better all day long, not just for the hour I work with Kyle. I move better, sleep better, stand up straighter, and eat better. I would recommend Kyle to anyone who is serious about improving their overall fitness and quality of life. More...

I have worked out at several gyms and have had personal trainers at other places before. Kyle is the BEST!  I have been coming to him for about 2 years and the results show. He is motivating, personable, fun, and committed to the community. He takes the time to focus on each individual's issues and goals. For me, he helped me recover from weak back and shoulder muscles after surgery and helped me with my tennis game by using sport specific techniques. When you work out here you get focused attention. No texting, eating, tv watching or phone calls (some of my biggest pet peeves with other trainers). My wife and kids also work out here, and Kyle makes it fun and motivating for everyone. Can't say enough good stuff. More...

I'm a rugby referee who is recovering from microfracture surgery on my right knee and battling a lifelong weight problem. I used to keep the weight off by bicycling, but I've developed arthritis in my other knee which makes cycling more than a few miles painful . So I was looking for someone who could help me get fit and in shape for the rugby season while not worsening my knees.I tried Chicago Family Fit because it's conveniently located and because of the flexible hours. I've been extremely impressed so far. Kyle, the owner, knows his stuff and has done a great job customizing workouts for me that work my upper body, core, and hips while not aggravating my knees. I feel like I get a fantastic strength and cardio workout all in one. Best of all, Kyle changes things up every visit. It's seldom that I'll do the same set of exercises on consecutive visits.Kyle knows a lot about movement, strength training, and cardio training, and the facility is perfectly suited for what he does. I'm extremely happy with the results so far and strongly recommend Chicago Family Fit for anyone looking to improve their fitness. More...
