We teach Olympic Style Boxing. Which is governed by USA Boxing Association which, we are an active and Certified Coaches and Boxing Club Member that is sanction by (AIBA) the International Boxing Associaton and the United States Olympic Committee.

My boxing team is what expired me to do personal training. Most of my proceeds that I earn through training will go to my at risk athletes to take care traveling to and from tournaments across the United States and abroad.

Majority of the proceeds will go to young at risk athletes (#11 Overcomers Boxing Team) in the inner city. It will allow us to purchase equipment, gauze, mouthpieces, uniforms, transportation to boxing events and out of state events. . . Some of our kids have never seen Baltimore, MD. and some of our kids has been as far as to Dublin, Ireland. So, plant a donation seed and watch how it blossoms. . .

This is a fast pace contact sport that attracts dedicated, committed and fearless prospects to the sport of boxing like yourself. Most people say the greatest fear is to get on the stage to speak in-front of a Live audience. That’s NOT TRUE, the greatest fear is to lace up them gloves and step into the ring and engage your opponent in a boxing match in-front of a Live audience. This is why you are so special, you are about to embark in something that most people fear to do. So, welcome to the sport of boxing. Coach Coop is a Professional Coach, Certified Coach (Level II Coach) and a Certified Official (Level II Official) for USA Boxing Association and (AIBA) International Boxing Association (Amateur) with National experiences coaching and officiating. Also, he is a Certified Adult CPR/AED & Standard First Aid from the American Health Association. He has been coaching amatuar and professional Boxer's since 2005. He has developed athletes through coaching them to win championships such as the Jr. Olympic Championship, Golden Gloves Championship, Silver Gloves Championship, Sugar Bert National Tournament Qualifiers Championship and position an athlete to be ranked #2 by the Silver Gloves. Also, Coach Coop trains professional MMA athletes on their striking abilities (boxing) skill set. He is also the Boxing Coach (Instructor) of one of the most successful Brazilian Jiu Jitsu schools in the United States.

Coach Coop had the fortitude to display his amateur boxing skills all across the United States on the local, reginal and national level, to include competing in the 1992 Olympic Trials. Also, he had sponsored the very 1st professional boxing event at Howard University College.

Coach Coop started boxing in 1978 and went pro in 1994. Also, he has studied "Tae Kwon Do" under "Master Michael Cole" in 1982 - 1984. He has achieved a brown belt in “Tae Kwon Do”. In his last pro fight he suffered a torned retina, which ended his professional boxing career.

We practice wearing mask doing the entire workout. If the weather is nice we take the workout session outside. Also, we practice social distance as much as, possible.

You will learn the science of boxing. Which consist of how the fighter has mastered the techniques of the sport. The way a boxer bobs and feints, the way they use their footwork, their defense, their style, and their approach to each specific fight all combine to create a scientific method.
