What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I listening intently to the client's needs and have years of experience.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
For retail clients, I want to know more about the product. What it's best features? What's essential for the customer to know about the product when looking at the photos? Do you have any particular style in mind? Are we selling a lifestyle?
For portraits, my client being comfortable is priority number one. I get to know them as we shoot. Asking them, "what kind of music do you like?" I'll play it for them to get them pumped up! The best photos come out when you feel free to be yourself.
Describe your creative process.
I mood board, collect props, and set up the look and feel before any project.
I move things around until I'm happy. I work very meticulously and need things to be "just so." It's worth it, in the end, to get a result I'm proud of!
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I need to know the nature of the project or portrait. An overview and essential details about the product or service. Any request you may have, and a timeline.
What do you love most about your job?
I love making people happy. Whether it's helping someone get excellent photos for their website or bringing up someone's confidence in a portrait session. If you're happy, I'm happy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for creating has always motivated me to share it with others.
